Simply the best visualization of disassembly I have seen ! Thank you

Thank you so much for making this vid! Just changed the spring on my SS belt sander and didn't pay enough attention when I took it apart (thought I had it memorized, and laid out right, didn't take any pictures or notes) got it backwards reassembling and your vid set me straight. Also, didn't know about the threads to pull the spring out to drive the pin in. Thank you!

Geoffrey, I'm the one who complained about white letters and short read time. My compliments. You have solved both problems on this video. Keep up the good work.

I will do this rebuild on my old belt sander very soon, so your excellent video will be very helpful! And thanks for all the other help you provide to Shopsmith owners on various forums.

Great vid! I will overhaul mine at some point and will refer back to this vid. I would learn easier with sound of your voice explaining everything along with text box as used. I had to stop the vid often to understand what you were doing. Thankyou so much for taking your time! Pat

Thanks for this! At 8:16 you say to remove the spring washer after removing the spring clip and before removing the tensioner knob. I just acquired a used belt sander and don't see the spring washer. Also, I don't see the spring washer in the exploded diagram in the sander manual. Should I find a replacement? or just reassemble without it?

The disassembly went well, thanks to your video! Should I grease the funny looking washers and the cavity where the drive bearings fit? Thanks!
