Each winter, the Canadian city of Montreal clears snow off of roads, sidewalks, and other public throughfares to make it easier and safer to travel. Montreal is the snowiest major city in North America, and its snow removal operation is among the largest in the world, costing C$179.7 million in 2020.

I don't live in Canada but we pay a quite a bit in Iowa for snow removal too. I don't know the exact figures but I've not seen an operation like this around here. Those guys are moving a bunch of snow and look like they are working well together.

That's a lot of $$$ for the labor, wear n tear maintenance to the commercial vehicle. But worth it for those trying to get to work and home without having to deal with the snow
