Just to clear up, you can register and use Shop Ship Shake from wherever you are in the world but door to door delivery is only for South Africa. This means that you can still sell to SA based customers or place orders and then have a courier ship to any country that is outside of South Africa. What's the difference on buying on Shop Ship Shake and Alibaba ?

Shop Ship Shake is only for the SA market, their suppliers are from 1688 and they ship directly to your doorstep. Alibaba ships worldwide, suppliers are from all over the world and they do not help you to deal with customs etc.

So let's say I I listed a product on my shopify and the product is R99 at SSS and I'm listing it for R300 at my shopify, am I suppose to manually pay SSS or they deduct from client whom ordered my sister? Thank you again for sharing the info

Remember that you still have to finish off placing the order with SSS and make sure that everything is in order so you are the one who has to pay them.

What about the customs/freight costs? Is it always so costly with air shipping and is there any way to lower it

Customs shot up at the beginning of the pandemic and they never came down. Air shipping is ridiculously expensive all round and best suited for light weight - high value goods like hair or luxury accessories. I use sea shipping for all my orders.
