You are just the best in Delay Analysis. I have a question to ask, why DURATION %, because your previous video on TIA was done with PHYSICAL % COMPLETE. Again, in the other TIA video you used a splited activity method when a delay impacted an activity in progress, you also used SUSPEND and RESUME feature to link the Delay Event and the Activity. You DELETED the PREDECESSOR RELATIONSHIP of the impacted ACTIVITIES before Assigning it to the DELAY EVENT.Now, this look a bit different, sir

• You must adhere to your procedure for scheduling updates. To make the concepts clear, we are doing this. Additionally, focuses on voice; the lesson explains why we are updating in this manner. • To carry out the delay analysis, there are two approaches, Splitting the activity and suspending and resuming. That was clarified in the tutorial. • Indeed, to add the delay event in between, we must remove the predecessor. Once again, remember to pay attention to voice and audio while learning.

goodevening sir very informative vedio sir but in your delay event log ,your first delay event starts from 2 jan 2021 to 03 january 2021 however when you made your w-01 there you updated activity not according to your delay event ,you updated delay event in the month of feburary 2021, was it wrong update or there was some other logic

Hi Sir, Great Video, If I am doing TIA, please confirm, shall i need to update my schedule again and again after adding new delay events, or i can take the last Update of the Schedule and add all delay events and link the delay events with their successors and run the schedule same of last update date, This is the right way i mean?

How did you deccide about the responsibilty of each delay event ( assumed everything is approved bt the client !!!) or What !!!!

The planner will make this determination based on the delay events. For example, a contractor delay would be a machinery breakdown, while a client delay would be a delay in obtaining design or document approval.

sir you just update the activities in engineering and design wbs and not the remaining wbs why is that what about the activities in remaining wbs....

We think the tutorial has covered the explanation, however, it's possible we just added delays to the design phase to ensure that concepts are clear. You have to add delays as per your delay events.

Dear, Thank you for the compliment. Any %complete type that you implement to update the progress is fine. Do not alter the same into duration %Complete. Since you are creating an impact analysis, your results will not be accurate if you change the %complete type.
