Very helpful, I bounced off Vigilant at first but have slowly come to love her. Capcom did a great job with the exosuits, not a single one I don't have fun playing. Savage Gauntlet next week!!!

Don’t forget to make note that, as a hover utility, cannon and your own rail gun skill shot will give you additional hover time, if you need the utility of staying above the action for a little bit longer after you double jump.

This is my favorite exo. The Frostbite is soooooo clutch. It can completely shut down an invasion and works as a great defensive tool for getting pushed in PvP. Tip: When freezing hordes jump first. Hitting them with frost from above will allow you to freeze way more raptors.

Correct me if I'm wrong but charge enhancer works with her ult right? I'm not playing rn but I'm pretty sure that's the case and using it plus the ult recharge rig for boss missions is some insane dps bursts

basically, it IS fine to use charge linker before full lv 5, BUT you never charge in that case and instead just rely on the linked crits.

I had great success with vigilants frost lock. Pair with roadblock and have him topple a dino then freeze it. It wont survive

Would floating vault work with the laser shot vigilant has? Adding more damage to the already powerful ability; I forget it’s name but I would possibly use it for the floating attack above with big damage output if it works

When I play Vigilant I go for V - Finishing Streak. The dinos seem to have a big elemental resistance after coming out of freeze and it's duration is huge so they can't be freezed again. I tested it on training and even with double frost it does not freeze again only after a considerable time passes ( I am not 100% sure of the mechanic just basing it on my testing). Because of this IMO 12 seconds cooldown is enough to still contribute freeze for big dinos fights. You use one when they appear. And If your team is good you use another when they are down or If your team is in disarray and the dino is after you(Cuz you pulled aggro). Freeze it and finish it in safety. After I finished the campaign story missions. I got much more missions with huge hordes. The hordes are so big you can get 100k+ points on normal mission so the cdr of Finishing is very good IMO.

That is correct. The only good thing about the freeze ability is that it’s highly effective against players, though the player will have to either be not paying an attention or is an idiot to be hit with it. So overall it’s useless in most scenarios, though it’s a great tool to use if you are surrounded to get out of the way real quick.

You should know that Suchomimuses are almost completely immune to freezing, if you get swarmed by them Vigilant's frostlock is worthless.

Yeah that's why I run the paralysis rig on my vigilant. It's great for cc in combination with your frost lock

@@Evilution382 the pierce function is only for exosuits (pvp). On dinos you have to maximize the explosion splash range. So you jump and throw it in the middle of a pack. Or what I find most effective is to pre setup. Drop it in the horde path and do a sniper shot into it when the group around it is big. Your shot will pierce the enemy and hit the frost and freeze all around it. Careful in trying to this in combat since lots of time I would do this and from outside of the screen comes a single raptor and gets hit by the projectile so I only get to freeze 1 dino.
