Great to see this great old ship once more. We explored the carrier ourselves on one of several trips we made to Charleston. It was some time ago as the old bridge over the Cooper River was still there. Enjoyed following your walk around. We completed the day with a ride to Fort Sumpter. We really enjoy such historic places. Hope you have a great week.

Really interesting air carrier. We toured one in Corpus Christi, and loved the adventure. It's set up a lot like this one.

What an awesome sight and something I would love to go and visit. I remember taking my 5 year old grand son to see HMS Belfast a battlecruiser that it moored in the River Thames opposite the Tower of London and we both loved it. Looks like your whole family enjoyed you day too, cheers Alan

I had never heard of either of these movies, but I did read what that one was about, and it sounded interesting, I will have to see where I can watch it on :) Thanks for watching!

Very cool . I never knew this was there. I was in the navy and lived on a ship. I’ve never been on an aircraft carrier though. You gave a nice narrative on the history of this carrier. Well done. 👍

Very cool museum!awesome getting up close to all the aircraft, The destroyer was cool! Also its history being involved in Utah beach landings then to head back to fight Japanese. It took a real good few hits at Okinawa 30 planes attacked and it beat 8 of them and took 2 direct hits. Amazing ship

I love visiting maritime museums (I'm a coastal girl lol!) those aircrafts are so cool to see. I love learning more American history from you! Wow a recovery ship for the Apollo 8, that's really cool. Sad when ships are decommissioned but so cool to see them repurposed as museums! The flight simulator sounds cool but I would get sick LOL. So cool everything is hands on. So cool to get on the destroyer ship too. From WW2, so cool!! And on D-Day too. That's so cool that you got to see it. The holograms are so neat. Fantastic video as always :)

Yeah I like they repurpose them as museums as well, save them from the junk yard :) Glad you like learning more about American History :)

This museum looks like a fascinating place to explore. I really want to go check out the Vietnam experience. My dad was drafted into the military during the Vietnam War. He was proud of his service to his country... but his experiences in Vietnam were something he did not like to talk about. Now that he has passed away, I can't really ask him about any of it. So it is interesting to me to see places like this and imagine what he might have gone through during that time. Anyway, this is on our to do list now. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Thank you for your Dad's service!! The Vietnam experience was very immersive, you feel like your really there. So scary the life our soldiers had to live there. Thank you for sharing your dad's story! Thanks for watching as well!
