I have an Aquascaphe Bronze. It took a bit of getting used to, as I wasn't familiar with the weird world of "bronze". Now I love it. The breakthrough was finding the correct strap, as the original isn't that comfy.

The only microbrand watch I have is this very model in black with faux luminous markers and it works with my numerous vintage Omegas and few other great brands . Love your show , I have an very early seamaster 351 bumper which I hope to date soon when take it for a service - really hoping for 48 as it’s my late father’s birth year. Thanks for all the knowledge. Regards from Cape Town

I've had my eye on this watch for a while, but I keep throwing money at building Seiko mods and buying more expensive watches. Glad to hear it's a quality piece.

Nothing wrong with what you're currently collecting. But if you ever think of giving a micro brand or something different a try, don't forget about Baltic. Cheers!

This is a very nice watch. I own the same model and am very pleased with it. The blue colour is beautiful, bezelaction and alignment are perfect. A strapmonster as well: wears great with a dark-brown leather strap, perlon, nato, single strap nylon, all in a variety in colours. Lume is not exceptional but sufficient. Only negative I can mention would be the (on my watch) rather sharp lug edges. Accuracy on average +/- plus 11 sec/d/w which for me is absolutely acceptable. I really love this watch and it gets a lot of wristtime.

I own the same Baltic watch and loving it so far , however just wanted to suggest that you try Omega speedmaster FOIS as it’s 39.7 mm whilst being the same size as professional without the crown guards and bulky twisted lugs which makes it much more sophisticated and elegant on the smaller wrists

I own one of these with the black silver dial and steel bracelet. I purchased it one year ago. My two comments are as follows: One, I like the fact that the beads of rice bracelet is essentially a close copy of the 60s and 70s Omega one (minus the clasp/buckle). Two, at 7:05 in the video I am not sure how it gets this great time precision because the watch I have loses about 20 seconds a day. That is what the specs on that movement state also. Great review for Baltic watches for sure.

Thank you for the comment and for sharing your thoughts. One thing I forgot to mention is I did not need to adjust the regulator, which I could have done so if I wanted to (but that would be a dishonest review). But I am pretty surprised to see the timing on the machine be so accurate. I personally would not mind, even if it’s about 10 seconds off per day. But if it’s 20, I will probably adjust it. Haha.

It’s a nice piece. The big failing with this watch is that there is not enough points of difference between minute and hour hands.

I understand that the price may still be a bit much to some people. But if you compare the quality of the watch with many brand name watches out there (don't want to mention their names), you're getting a bargain with a Baltic.

After I re-watched the video last night, I realized I had forgotten about the night shot! Your KZbin display pic shows me how important it is to you. Haha, I am so sorry about that. But I can tell you that "Super-Luminova" is extra bright in the dark. The lug-to-lug is 47mm; anything I may have missed can also be found on their site. Many thanks for the comment. 😁

My only concern is that it’s too small for my 7.5in wrist
@TimelessHistoryChannel Жыл бұрын
Maybe personal preference because many of clients have 7.5in wrist but enjoy wearing 36mm or smaller vintage watches. This Baltic is 39mm. I believe their titanium version is 40+. 😃
@jasonchaney5382 Жыл бұрын
I have an 8in wrist and used to think anything smaller than 42mm was too small. Now about half my collection is smaller than that. 39mm really is the sweet spot. Give it a try. Once you get used to it, you'll love it.

DON'T buy any baltic watches, they are garbage. I ordered their mr01 for 605 euros, paid in full, in advance. I received the watch 7 months later. It ran 9 MINUTES per hour fast. I did not mis-type the last sentence. 9 MINUTES per hour fast, not 9 seconds. And the bor bracelet was very cheap, I have $100 watches with vastly superior bracelets. And they will not provide a return shipping label to return their garbage product. Live & learn. RUN from the GARBAGE company !
