Cool collection binder. Are you organizing simply by country? Are you trying to find one example of every year and denomination?

They are organized by country and then with each country they are organized by catalog number. In the binder, it’s a type set and so if I have two of one type from different years only one will be in the binder, but I do keep the coins of other years just organized differently.

@@CoinMetallurgist ok. I think I have a better understanding. KM# is a driving factor. I also like the FAO coins. I have those categorized/sectioned separately.

Since it would've been in this binder, would you ever consider collecting coins of the Islamic State?

I didn’t even know they made some! I have collected ones from Iran, Cuba and North Korea without thinking twice. If I came across a coin from Islamic state I would keep it but I don’t plan to go out seeking them.

They’re not easy to find, and they’re not cheap either. Even the copper coins are several hundred Dollars. Silver is mod three figures to mid four figures. Gold are several thousand per coin.
