This is the story of a normal man in age 60's who wanted to see what is there is in Ladakh, why every youngster wanted to go Ladakh..
He did it comfortably on his Honda Hornet 160r covering ~7500 km from Chennai - Ladakh - Chennai.

Awesome video and presentation 😊 A couple of pointers/tips: Ooty is around 7400 ft, not 2.5k feet or maybe he meant 2.5k meters. Actually the carb is better in some way compared to the EFI. At higher altitude you need to lean the mixture because of less oxygen, then it will work like a charm. Learn how to lean/enrich the mixture of your bike. Changing airscrew settings may not be enough, you need to change the needle settings in the carburetor. Best is to stop by a mechanic before hitting high altitude if you don't want to mess with the carb. There is a major advantage of the carburetor over EFI. In EFI, If the battery is down in cold conditions, you need to jump start from an external power. In Carburetor you can push start. I live in California and I ride a BMW R1250GS. I plan to do the Leh/Ladakh in 2024 and I will also be 62 😊 I am planning to buy a bike (200-300 cc) in India and ride it. I have been seeing a lot of videos and was very impressed by a person from Kolkata riding a Yamaha scooty.
