I love how much you are willing to put into your CBN's. I often find myself wanting to put in a little gel pen somewhere and stopping myself for fear of "wasting" expensive materials.

Aww that makes me kinda sad to hear that! I'm not sure what CBN's are but I absolutely love adding sparkly gel pen to my pages! The more sparkly, the better!😊 It's not wasting it because that's what you bought it for, to use on your coloring pages, right?! So don't worry about it! You can always buy more later! I used to be afraid to color in certain books because I was so worried that I would mess up, but I started telling myself that if I mess up and ruin the whole page, I'll just buy another copy of the book! So now it's just the books that are out of print that I worry about coloring in because I can't replace them if I mess up! But as far as gel pens, I think you should just use them and have fun with it! I also love adding some iridescent paints or my opal watercolor paints. The Gansai Tambi opal watercolor set is awesome and it's not expensive! They sheer so I like adding them over top of a moon and stars, on a mermaid tail, and many other things! Even if you have expensive supplies, I still say go for it because the only way you will have wasted your money is if you don't use the supplies you've invested in! Happy coloring!🥰❤️

Also, if you're still worried about it, maybe you could buy a back up set of gel pens so that you're not worried about running out?

I love my CBN books. Luckily I don't see it as wasting them. I will even use copics on them. I can understand if you have limited resources. I have used Crayola crayons and Crayola markers in some of my bigger spaces. Those pages also I think look beautiful!! Just use whatever supplies you have. As long as you are enjoying the process. That is the main thing! ❤

@@tiffanycolors7984 Yeah that's the thing. I'm on such a tight budget, especially now. I'm so lucky to have the materials I do. But I still enjoy the process even if I can't splurge to all the mediums I really want to. 😍
