So many beautiful diamond paintings done! Looks like you had a productive month even with your health challenges. Well done. The birds were a great addition to the sounds in the background 🫶🏻

Thanks Jody. Many of the diamond paintings I had already done, but I was enjoying them a lot. They are easier on my hand than colouring can be. Glad you could hear the birds!!

Beautiful pages, Amanda! I have to say, I adore the way you colored the Magic Jars snail page. Gosh, I’m not a fan of snails at all but this turned out perfect! I love the green bbq page, and I love that you were inspired by the outing with your mum, that made me smile! Thanks for sharing!❤

Beautiful pages! Thank you for sharing your friend's pictures and diamond painting to! I hope you are feeling better Amanda. The "did you know" fact today was awesome! I had no idea those two characters were voiced by the same person! I had to share that with my son.

You’re welcome. Yes I was surprised by that fact too! I’m feeling a little better, but still not great unfortunately. Thanks so much for watching.

I'm sorry you are struggling. I'm praying you start to feel better soon. You really did accomplish a lot and your pictures are beautiful. We can be our own worst critic, so remember to be kind to yourself. I was so excited to hear the kookaburras in the background. I love that! Thank you for sharing.

New glasses really helped me a lot with my coloring. Maybe it would help with your diamond painting? I am pretty sure I haven't been coloring as much, in part, to not being able to see well. I, practically, had my nose to the paper! Now I can sit up straight and color. It's warmer here in the states, now, so I will be outside gardening and planting more but it is a joy to get to watch your lovely videos and color again! I am SO far behind.

PS: all wonderful pages and please keep educating us on the world around us. had not known that about Australia and New Zealand. US plans to take TikTok from us, basically, and it is really one of the few platforms that gives it to us real. If the ban goes in to effect, we will need friends to help us learn about other country's past, present and future. Your brain is fine. Mine gets foggy too sometimes. HUGS!

Thanks. I get my eyes checked regularly so my glasses are fine at the moment. But thanks for the suggestion. I’m glad you got yours sorted out! Gardening and enjoying the sunshine sounds wonderful!

Yes I am aware of the TikTok thing in the States. It’s really showing the true intentions of your government to keep its people in the dark! Scary! Hopefully the ban doesn’t go through

It really did help. I do love my gardening. I got a lot of work to do though. lol!

You are right about that. I think we're about to make major history and not in a good way, unfortunately. Wish I could afford to move out of the country. Just go somewhere that is quiet and, well, more normal.

Masking fluid is a wonderful thing.. when it works. Some tips from years of use: My favorite is Winsor Newton.. yes it's more expensive, but it's the most reliable IME. I've never found a masking pen that works reliably. Never shake masking fluid.. it solidifies on contact with air and if you shake it you put air bubbles into the product which will make it clumpy and stringy. Some sediment on the bottom is normal, if you must, stir gently with a stick of some sort. Store it upright, it may form a film on top due to the air in the bottle, just fish it out. Never pour it into the cap to use, you need that cap to seal perfectly so it keeps as much air out as possible.. I always just go into the bottle for product but you can pour a bit into a small container, just clean the threads of the bottle well and don't pour it back in after. Always test your mask before every use on the paper you will be using... every paper reacts differently and the mask can go "off" with no warning and suddenly decide to fuse to your paper or act a fool. It's better to test than cry. By far the best tool to apply is a silicone nib brush. There is also a tool called a "ruling pen" that is amazing for lines. Be generous, it's easier to lift if it's not paper thin. Don't use your fingers to pick up mask, use a pick up tool or your silicone nib brushes, be gentle and patient. You can also wear a latex glove or finger cot. Don't peel it up, roll it. Mask is time sensitive... it has to dry completely.. and the paper has to dry completely after media is applied... but also can't stay on too long before you lift.. no more than 24hrs is best. Never apply heat of any kind to mask, wet or dry.. so no drying media if mask is on the page with a heat tool/hair dryer/etc.. everything has to air dry.

@@amandacolours You are welcome. Mask is a "problem child" for sure, and there is nothing worse than getting half done with a picture you love and the mask destroys it. At least with original art you can start over to some extent, with a coloring book it's just done for. If the worst happens and you do have a spot where the surface is pulled up.. you may be able to fix it to some extent. This is very hit or miss but if your page will be ruined otherwise give it a try. Use a damp paintbrush to "paint" the area with water, try to go with the grain of the paper if you can, smoothing it as much as possible. Let dry. Use the back of a spoon to burnish the paper smooth once dry. This will probably still affect the appearance of the area under pencil, so you may need to rough up an entire section around it to "blend" it in. If it's a coloring book you can try to just blend the area within the lines where the tear is located. Another thing you can try is watercolor ground or gesso, apply it to the entire area that includes the tear, or the entire page if you aren't too far along.

Hi Amanda. Such lovely pages. Sometimes you just need a simple page to color. I loved seeing how you colored them. Hope your hands feel better. I’m going to try to get the doggie doodle book to join you. Thanks for sharing. 💕

Hiya, LOL the kookaburras :) regarding dark colours, yes I have trouble seeing where dark colours go eg near the edge or a black or dark nib or brush, I guess it's similar to dark DP pieces. I often go outside the lines yikes to getting older and eye sight woes. Thank you for sharing all your creative treasures and stories 💕😊
