I think my silky crayons are my fave thing for backgrounds. I have a set of iridescent gelatos so they have a sheen but I wouldn't buy anymore than that as the silky crayons have more than enough colours to create what you need. They work pretty much the same as each other in my opinion. Xx

I think you should try to fix the gold glitter pen skin page. You could paint the skin with gauche, I know you like a challenge, I think it'll be fun

About that page in Wildflower Folk with the gold marker on the face: what if the character is wearing a gold mask? A venetian mask would look lovely, I think.

HOW do you get your alcohol marker pages so smooth? They look printed on!!! I always get lines!

I find that if you keep the alcohol marker moving and slightly overlap as you go to avoid it drying then it definitely helps xxx

Enjoyed your pages. I wonder if the gouache problem is because it’s on top of colored pencil that contains wax and oil. I know you can use pencils on top of gouache but I’ve never heard of doing it the other way. Maybe someone else in chat will know because now I’m curious 😂

I imagine so but not 100%. I think it's something you'll have to try. Alternatively there is a French website that sells the Disney books etc by Hachette called Lireka if you want to try that. Hope this helps xx

What is the best pens and penci?

It honestly depends from person to person. I enjoy using Crayola Supertips, Ohuhu Alcohol Markers and my favourite pencils are Faber Castell Polychromos but there are loads of other great alternatives out there xx

Wonderful pages. You have to be careful when you let children around your coloring books as I've got young neices that come over. I let them use sheets that I print out for them until they are older.
