Years ago when I was a youngster, I was so intent on living the present moment that I didn't journal or take photos, and when I was alone in Sweden during the pandemic I came to regret it. Now I believe that documenting and photographing moments I appreciate is the same as cultivating the practice of being present. Nothing better than having a good moment live on!

Bravo for finishing your insert of your trip so soon. This is why I got into TN’s initially. I have so many of these now from trips and they bring me such joy. Love all your ephemera memories ❤

Thanks, Kathy. I’m really liking this too…they’re easy to complete and a good travel size, aren’t they? 😊

I journal all my travel in a similar manner! So much fun! We are taking our 11 year old grandson to the Smokies in a couple weeks, I’m going to bring supplies for him to join me if he wants to. Thanks for sharing.

@@kimberlycook5860 oh how fun! I hope he will. Either way though, that’s pretty special that you can take him on a trip. 😃

Love all of this! I also journal and scrap along the way with our travels. These 1/2 notebooks will be a great addition to my collections.

@@janevanderzanden3716 oh good! Glad to hear that. It really felt very “doable” and was satisfying to complete a book! 😃

A paper magpie , I love it , that's the perfect description for those who gather ephemera bits !! You should put the flag patch on your Yuruliku pen pouch of Kanken bag . What a beautiful trip with family !

@@SouthShorePaper That’s a good idea; I think I’ll try it on the Yuruliku.😃
