Oh I love this. Stuff my dreams are made of. I was planning to make junk journals using the greeting cards I have received since I was a little girl. I saw first the short video, but I must see this one also, because I missed your talking through. Of course I didn't saw all your video's since you started this journal. I finished your 2020 Autumn Challenge in March 2020 - it took me about 5 months 😳 I made 2 signatures which I kept together with big bulldog clips and sewed it into an old book cover (about the size of your journal) after they were finished. That way I was able to decorate and sew onto the pages very easily. I’ll try this binding method after I finish my current Wildflower Journal - all the pages were made from ‘desk litter’ after finishing the Challenge. I sewed it in first and have had to give myself a serious talking to, to stop myself from cutting the thread 😏 Doing the ‘challenge’ was good for self discipline😁

A very beautiful summer journal Barbara and such a creative way to capture so many special memories. Thankyou for sharing the prompts and page episodes leading up to this. What a fascinating journal, so fun, and so interesting!!! Loved everything in it!!!!! You have such a wonderful grasp of the english language, you speak better than many americans, lol!!!!! Did you spend a long time in the USA? You even journaled in english,WOW, I am so impressed!!!! When I was 5 we went to Germany because my Dad worked for the US Army as a civilian, and we stayed for 11 years. When we first arrived, Mom hired a live-in babysitter/housekeeper/cook....etc. Her name was Gabriella, (we called her Gabby) and she became one of the family, loved her to pieces.Anyway, she was from Austria also, but I don't remember what town now. My Sister and I had such fun with her and loved her so!!! She spoke very good english also, but not nearly as well as you, but the funny thing to us as little kids was the fact she could NOT pronounce the 'TH' in our american words...you know like 'the', 'this', 'everything', and we would sit on her lap and try our best to try to get her to say the 'th' sound but she just couldn't as much as she tried!!!! When I look back on my wonderful childhood memories Gabby is a big part of them, and also is visiting Austria....we loved it!!!! Sorry, I blab too much, but wanted to tell you about our Gabby and she stayed with us those 11 years and then married an American Sargeant and moved to El Paso, Texas! Again, your journal is lovely and so are you!
