They removed the Zipline-Superjump. It only exists a bit in the direction of the Zipline Slope now. We can only hope this was a hotfix and they reconsider the clamp speed approach i suggested for the full release. twitter.com/reachthefinals/status/1635583430464348160?s=20

To Finals devs, I'd say leave things as they are. Apex became rejuvenated by tap strafing and other unintended movement techs, some of the best things were made on accident, don't make your game bland, allow some discovery.

When throwing and object it adds whatever momentum you currently have. So of you throw something mid dash it gains pretty good distance on command

Watching the movement tricks in this game feels so familiar for me as an Apex player, like in 2:38 it's almost the same we do in Apex to avoid getting shot in ziplines, and in 8:19 it's basically a superglide.

I can hear people saying this could kill apex, but there's many things you have to understand too. As a Titanfall Vet i agree with the vision of the movement you have, since the 7th i play this game anf i really appreciate the movement and mechanics, i had also discovered the zip tech but didn't know if it was intended or not, sadly i don't make you tume video but there's also a technique if you use the dash upward with the zip line. Anw it's not the subject. So the problem in this game is clearly how its perform and how frustrating most things are linked to the server. I will say it right now, If you shoot someone moving, you wont hit 'em. You will have a lot of situations when you will hit someone with the pistol or and ar and notice how much bullet you put in him (you have a visual aid to see where you hit someone and that's really coo' tho) but you will also notice less than the 3rd of your shot reg. But as soon as the player is not moving you will also notice sometimes you will miss some bullets a bit on the side and know u didn't hit and the game will still mark him as killed. There's also basically the way you can't play this game if you don't have a beast of a config, and with no last gen version and the most popular GPU on steam now be the 1650, there's no way this game will be really popular and what is a shame because i really like the thec in this game. Playing this game before some stick and stones on Northstar kinda warm me up. There's a last huge problem which you can't basically avoid if you are a solo player : this game just like apex is trio based, but not like apex, the TTK in this game is reallly long. What i mean is, you have 0 chance to win against a 3 stack knowing what they are doing even if you are objectively better than them. If you hate the solo experience in higher rank in apex, this game will crush your soul even in quick match at low level because no matter how good your movement will be in this game, you will feel really frustrated every time you will notice that your mates are playing solo with no cohesion znd it will always feel like "individual 1+1+1v3" Hopefully it wasn't super long to read...

I think the zipline jump should be made a feature with some balancing however so we don't end up with way too high of jumps. i.e. provide a hard cap as to the absolute highest velocity you can get

7:26 I think they are using the vertical zipline superjump to get the extra velocity and distance combined with the jump pad and the grapple.
