I first played this tank in 2011, and back then it was a sufferer. Mid-tier heavies were completely dominated by the soviet vehicles, with KV (current KV-2) sitting at level 5 with the same devastating gun (even better actually, because HE rounds were more effective in general), and KV-3 at level 6 with its insane armor and 390 alpha damage. Besides, with the old balancer, tier 6 heavies could see tier 10 tanks in battles, which was not fun, especially with gold rounds being unavailable to most players, because you could not buy them with credits, only with gold. But even with all those struggles, I always had a soft spot for this tank, and it's good to see it finally getting its chance to shine. I hope they don't nerf it anytime soon, or even if they do, they should keep the turret armor untouched, because that particular buff was absolutely neccesary, unlike buffing DPM and some other things. As for this video, let's not lose sight of the fact that it was a very good player and he was playing a maxed out tank with bounty equipment, consumables, gold rounds and probably an insanely trained crew. Most people do not play in this fashion.

I started playing only at the end of 2013 so I never experienced those early days, sounds like it was both hilarious and annoying at the same time! As for the M6, I agree with the turret armour needing a buff but buffing most aspects at once is definitely not the way to go. It is indeed a good player with a great setup, but looking at stats from the last 30 days the M6 is a top 5 most played T6 tank with the best winrate and winrate differential and it's second on WN8. Usually when a vehicle is played so much it does not perform so well, which is why I think it is way too powerful at the moment. M6 is broken. You need to do 50 damage on average less in the T29 to three mark it last I checked. As of right now I have mine 2 marked and do like 1350 avg dam a game in it, same as both the t29 and t32 (just got out stock grind don’t flame me)

KV-2 is actually really good as well! But statistically the M6 is superior. Personally my favourite is the HOT TOG though!

Statistically the BUGI is pretty average (maybe even below) but if you enjoy it that is all that matters!

this is just sad stat padding against others in op tanks when wg has no clue how to balance tanks or make maps that are fair but only favours 1 spawn yes fjords we are looking at you.... or Mines list is long actually.. . but the fact that he was proud of showcasing a replay like this says it all..

Maps are definitely not in a good place right now and are not going to a good place in my opinion with all of the corridors being added to encourage the hull down meta. But I don't think there is any problem wanting to show a replay where you got 11 kills even if it is with an OP tank + setup. It's still not something that is easy to do.

Really nice having a $100,000 race car going against a $20,000 car and bragging about it. What is fair about WOT? You are able to buy all the goodies and then think you are good at play. Everyone gets the chance to pay, so that makes it fair as you look out the window of your mansion at my tent across the street. And then you call me stupid for not running out there to die in the first 30 seconds while you camp. You call that spotting. I call it committing suicide for the elitist snobs.

Even if you do buy everything it does not mean you'll have good games every single time. There's still skill involved, but it is definitely a P2W game and I don't think anyone is saying otherwise.

I believe that gold rounds should do less damage to balance it out, but as long as they're in the game it's understandable that people use it.
