my dark circles are like yours and I use 3 diff concealer shades just to get like a 50% reduction. THANK YOU!!! makeup breaks me out so the goal is a good corrector under a light dot of concealer without the need for a full face. so so helpful! time to experiment now!

@Dnatmag I’ve yet to find one that completely conceals my dark circles, but my best combo right now is the Bobbi Brown color corrector paired with the Tarte shape tape. Not perfect but best I’ve found so far!

I believe the shade of the color corrector that you choose should correlate with the color of your dark circle, not your complexion. I have a light to medium complexion but my circles are very dark, they’re brown.. not purple and not blue.... brown. I use a peach almost orangey corrector, not salmon or pink even though my complexion is light. Eg for the tart or becca correctors I would never choose the light medium ones, even though that’s the color of my complexion. I choose according to the dark circle.

I agree, I too have the same complexion as you and the same shade of darkness under my eyes. For years I have always even disappointed with any colour corrector I’ve tried because it just didn’t do enough to correct my dark circles.

very true, i even buy concealer my skin tone or a bit darker because it evens out the darkness , lightning just becomes greyness if you have really really dark circles like you said.

Awesome video! As for suggestions for other products, I'm currently using the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. You need so little of it and it corrects the undereye like a dream. It's a bit pricey but that little pot will last you for ages!

Although I'm in the light to medium complexion category, my under eyes are extremely dark, so I find that I do need a deeper corrector to hide my circles. I've been using the NYX corrector concealer (Medium) for years, and used the Bobbi Brown (Peach) before that. I might try Charlotte Tilbury or BeautyPie to see if I'm missing out.

Basically even without col our corrector u can hide dark circle by just using any concealer you love by using two to three shade darker then your own skin tone and on top of that u can use your own skin shade concealer

Hi Sarah. Since Becca announced their closure I’ve been unable to lay my hands on their colour corrector but I’m very happy with the Beauty Pie version. For many years I’ve used the Becca light (original) shade but I’m now combining the medium BP one with my existing Becca with good results. I’m halfway between shades. I’m a little concerned that as Becca disappears we may not be able to get the BP products which mimic, purely because they’re created by the same company (?) I will be getting a backup in my next order just in case. Keep bringing these great videos, Nicci x

Hi Sarah I hope you read your messages I really need your help. I bought the Bobbi Brown color corrector in peach and I liked it. BUT since you said your favorite was by Becca I searched until I found it. I bought new from Mercardi but it felt very oily and sticky. Can you text me if this is correct or could they have mixed it with vaseline? I have never used this before and when I applied on my under eyes I didnt see any difference after applying concealer but I did with Bobbi Brown which is lighter. Please need your help. Thanks

I’ve used this Armani Master Corrector #2 for years and unfortunately, it’s discontinued. I reached out to the company and asked if they plan to launch a new corrector and I was told no, no plans at this time (around Nov. 2020). I’m on the hunt for a replacement as well. What I’ve been using is the NARS concealer in Honey (it’s a little on the peachy side) as my corrector with Ginger on top and it’s been the best so far.

Fab video. Thank you 😊. Have you tried the J Star corrector? Or the revolution one, or the LA girl one. That is actually a favourite of mine too. Also, beauty pie is actually company that sells high end products at affordable prices. The members prices are actually really good apparently. It’s literally all made in the high end factory but doesn’t have the brand name on it and is in plain packaging....apparently. I can attest to the contour wand being 💯 the same as the CT one. But that’s pretty much all I’ve tried because I was given it. I keep debating signing up for it though.

Hey hey! Just a heads up because this video is relatively new. I went on a witch-hunt to find the perfect under-eye CCbecause Tarte has been out of stock with the Medium to Tan shade of the under-eye CC since forever. Turns out Becca is going out of business and Bobbi Brown isn’t being sold in Sephora or Macy’s or anywhere anymore for that matter. If possible there might need to be an update to this video. Since that significantly reduces out options.

If I use setting powder, my under eye skin comes patchy and crackley but if I don’t, my concealer sets into the fine lines. Do you have any suggestions?

Try using setting spray to set the concealer. Spray on brush and tap under eyes. She has a video on this method just leave out the powder

If you have them both, then combine them. I have light complexion and neither one is quite right. But mixing them customizes nicely!
