In one "encounter" for shooting games, a low ranked player could get a lucky headshot on a top tier player because of the quick style combat. But there is literally no way a low ranked player would ever 1v1 a top ranked player in wow due to the longer form combat. The longer style combat is a more thorough testing of each players abilities per encounter. Allowing more time and space for players to stand out. . But also, pvp is literally "player versus player." Not sure why the time those players were versing other players would change anything there? . It seems what you are trying to say is that you are not personally a fan of the longer form combat. You probably prefer something more quick form like valorant or call of duty. These games tend to be more rewarding for short term gratification. And it's one of the reasons they are so wildly popular.

It now feels like a filler you press untill u get ur big dmg cds back, do some big dmg for a small time window and go back to your fillers. It can also be that all the players in this video are good and they know how to not die, etc, but still….it doesn’t have the ”look at this video, the pvp is so epic, i can’t wait to play” vibe.

BG Blitz (and RBGs in general) basically randomly assign you to one of the "teams" since you can have cross faction groups now. So it's kinda like Green vs. Yellow in arenas, but since the BG maps are specifically designed thematically around either faction, it's easier for them to just keep the UI the same. When you're playing, it's pretty easy to tell which faction it put you on, but the main broadcast of this event was really hard to follow on Silvershard Mines specifically because of how they kept flipping perspectives lol

i love this shit. I think 6v6 in a smaller arena type map, with an objective would be interesting. Like overwatch and the payload is los able. Not a fan of 5 v 5 games that have 5v5 are waterdown bs

There's a PvP Brawl that rotates every now and then called "Deep 6". It's casual so usually the matchmaking is kinda shit but it's pretty fun. It's only a few specific BGs though.

That’s how it felt in shadowlands and dragonflight, but so far in TWW you really can FEEL every global you press. You see it do a little of their health or a lot if you’re a healer. Have you played this mode in TWW? I’m right there with you on how you press 10 buttons and healths don’t go up. If you ever see xar doing crazy damage and ppl still not dying it’s because there’s a healer popping off. Without dampening healers are so strong in this game mode
