@@AshRowland I bought a 6litre vevor from Amazon. Worked well for my GPZ900 carbs which I had had to dismantle into separate units (just like you did) to make them fit in the cleaner.

A little known fact, but 'The Joy of Impact Drivers' actually outsold 'The Joy of Sex' at Waterstones for several years.

I stumbled across this channel a few days back, and, flipping’eck its great… no flashy workshop or tools, but a really interesting project, great filming, splendid attention to detail, superb attitude and execution … ‘my kind of KZbin channel ❤’

Bit late now, but pouring hot water from a kettle over the plastic pipes would have probably got them out a lot easier. I used this technique to remove some stuck injectors from a fuel rail on a Ford a few years back.

Any chance you can tell me what brand/source of rebuild kit(s)? I am in the process of refurbishing a Californian spec A2 here in New Zealand and all I can find on the Internet is rather questionable unbranded stuff.

I bought them from a UK company called M and P. They have an eBay shop and the item number was 142446149085

All of the carb heating plumbing is a load of pointless rubbish, and ugly too, plus replacing all of those broken bits will cost a few bob. Thought - a set of carbs without that plumbing is cheap on eBay, about £100. Get a set, and rebuild them using the best bits from both sets of carbs ?
