Ok, so I have to give you mad props. I'm a newer producer, about a month or two in. And you've explained things in a way that for once it completely made sense why and how to use it. I really loved the automation of the effects. Very cool tips and tricks there. Even if people don't like this style of music, it's very helpful to see how you think it through.

OMG!! I never noticed the create fade on clip edges before!! I typically work in MIDI, but I was playing with some vocals recently noticed that annoying default behavior. I would then have to go in manually and correct it every time - ugh!! Smashed that "Off" button - thanks for the tip!!!

Just wanted to say this was such a satisfying tutorial to follow because of your good energy and the Music was enjoyable to listen to. It's super simple but still a dope track. You gave us the necessary buiding blocks to create our own variations and/or repurpose what you're doing here for a new track. Thanks a lot for this!

I only got the Intro for now just to dip my toes and was wondering if anything you’re teaching will be over my head because I don’t have certain features. • What are or how do you inspire yourself for creating melodies for a song? Thanks in advance. Any tips would help. Happy Holidays and a banger start to 2024. Subbed! 🤙

As a fan of progressive rock and metal music, I would looooooove if progressive electronic music also had odd time signatures and time signature changes within a song. Are there any producers out there who incorporate that in their electronic music? :)
@CompleteProducer11 ай бұрын
most EDM is based on bars and loops and because of that odd time signatures really mess you up when you're djing. i think almost no one ventures out of 4/4 because they want DJs to play their music haha

Hey Ethan! I just came back from a mammoth 3 day festival in Saudi called MDL Beast SoundStorm and I got to see all my fave teenage and uni years artists (DeadMau5, Axwell, Tiesto AVB) and some new ones like Black Coffee. I came home and dusted off my LPP Mk3 and MiniLab3 which have sat idly for almost 4 years and realised that after listening to my fave acts live is that I never mastered the true basics of music production - DRUM PATTERNS ! Could you please do a video covering the foundational drum patterns according to genres and their respective BPMs? It hit me that I’ll never master the basics of the midi controllers and DAW if I can’t just lay down a simple house drum pattern- no amount of my Splice or my plugins can correct or fill in for that so look forward to a video on this!
@CompleteProducer11 ай бұрын
That a great idea for a video! I'm either going to do a video like that for the channel, or for my new EDM course coming out early next year!

@@CompleteProducer Thank you! Ive heard things like "Four On The Floor" and "hats on the upbeat" vs "kicks on the downbeat" but it doesnt translate well when using a step sequencer which makes me think that i need to go right back to basics and nail the patterns on the DAW with a mouse first! Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas!
