The Snake challenge was absolute torture not knowing that. I had the fights down to a science, and figured out that if you damage yourself with down-b and get to at least 100%, while also taking over a minute to complete the fight you could minimize difficulty gain. ...... Little did I know.

Well you CAN get to 9.9 before the final battle and if you loose use a Classic Ticket to finish at 9.9. That’s how I got my 9.9 with Kirby. I got up to 9.9 before Marx, beat him until I died, then I used my ticket and finished him with my 9.9.

I myself am doing the entire roster in Classic Mode and i did Snake's Run ending with 5.2 and didn't get the achievement. After retrying and getting to exactly 5.0 is how i got it. There's no way to get it unless you get 5.0 only, over it will not count

I've completed every route in Classic Mode, it takes a while, but it helps you become versatile with all of the characters

Piranha Plant you have to be fast killing your opponents and don’t take that much damage

Also, you can't use any continues AT ALL to get to 9.9. Tickets don't count UNLESS you're already there.

I do this with Ness. Not a bad strategy if it actually works. Ness' PK Thunder is pretty fast, so even if they air dodge you usually have a second chance at hitting before they land.
