This is my favorite video so far that explains these concepts. I'm not sure if this would be the easiest video to start with, but it clearly summarizes all of the main points after being introduced to them elsewhere!

+NurseKillam I just have a question with regards the theistic moral argument, NurseKillam. Many theists tend to assert the existence of an objective morality . I've heard them say that it is a proper basic belief for people to affirm the existence of objective morality....to know that moral rights and wrongs exist. However, they insist on immunising their moral ontology from any sort of epistemological attack. They claim that how we come to know what these specific moral truths are is a separate issue and irrelevant to the ontological claim that moral rights and wrongs(objective morality) exists. But honestly, I find this problematic for this reason : What justification would somebody have for believing that a moral realm exists if they hadn't come to know specific moral truths. Surely, the coming to know moral truths has to precede the affirmation of objective morality, no??Which leads me to this conclusion....surely they have to validate their epistemological framework first, before they can justify their ontological claim?? What are your thoughts??I mean...I could flesh out the whole argument for you if you are not familiar with it and show you where I think it fails. But in some ways, you would have to agree with my query in the first paragraph. Perhaps, you will have to show me where I am going wrong!

NurseKillam The video is also excellent as well. Question: what is the relationship of a paradigm with the theoretical or conceptual framework ?. Do you have any video on theoretical/conceptual frameworks? Thank you for all of your work.
@NurseKillam9 жыл бұрын
I do have a video on concepts, models and theories. It is in the research playlist on my channel. Paradigms are views of reality that would guide how one sees the relationships in theoretical or conceptual models.

NurseKillam Thank you for your reply. Very useful links. Something more - in your book and in your videos, you do not mention anything about pragmatism. Why? Thank you
