I had to understand that first hand when I went to job corps 1998 in Albany, NY...that's when I fully understood that NY wasn't just the 5 Boroughs and Long Island alone. I meet some very chill people from Albany, Troy, Peekskill, Syracuse, Buffalo, Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, Schenectady, Utica and Binghamton. They reminded me of people I knew from the boroughs but had their own personalities and they had that don't fuck with me attitude which I can relate too.
