This is a great product I can first hand tell you it shocks you but it is a very controlled shock and only to that are and will help you stop anyway who is resisting without maximum force needed tklo be used. Great product was glad to be a part of it.

Given a taser is roughly only 50 percent effective on the street I can't see this being anymore or less effective. One advantage is it can't be knocked out of your hand/s.

The main reason why taser doesn't work is because of body fat or clothes getting in the way. This doesn't have any such issue but it's obviously a lot closer than taser guns.

You're applying the wrong statistics. Tasers often have "bad shots" where the probes don't have adequate dispersion or where one or both of the probes ends up making contact with baggy clothing, a wallet, etc. and thus not embedding properly in the skin. In these instances, the circuit is not closed, NMI is not achieved, and they don't work. This glove is more akin to a Taser's drive stun function, i.e. when you see a cop place the Taser directly against someone's body and zap them -- like a cattle prod. The GLOVE has its own issues -- notably it can't function through thick hair and is totally defeated by clothing, thus needing to be placed against bare skin -- but under those circumstances the target will always feel something. The issue is that it works largely on pain compliance and doesn't really lock up muscles like a Taser's probes.

@@SaftonYT The statistics are accurate. Those failed deployments often do occur. Not a fan of the gloves given you need to be right on top of one and good skin contact.

If look when it's on he's only using his 1st 2 fingers to command and detained, when he opens and grabs I see the guy go down. It must be a connection between the ring and pinky fingers.

As someone who was instructed on how to use these during the academy and certified. There are conductive electrode pads on the palm of the glove. when 2 of the pads come in contact with the human skin, it generates pain compliance and achieves neural peripheral interphase. The main point of contact you'd want to have with these gloves is extremities and joints. Not the head, face, throat, or groin area

Funny you should ask. I had a female jailer utilize these on a combative subject while my hands were full with a front compliance hold on another. She had the guy compliant within about 10 seconds.
