The drummer is so solid with those 32nd note triplets and quadruplets and can switch them up so smooth. The bassist and guitar player are so fantastic, but could not play these amazingly complicated songs without the drummer being so solid, and at blistering tempos. It is like they were triplets and shared the womb. Love this trio.

Sokoninaru! I love them! One of the bands I would absolutely like to see just to be fascinated. Absolute chaos in beautiful composition. And Misaki is one of my absolute bass-idols! Has been right from the moment I discovered this band and that is even though her style of playing is totally different from my own!

SOKONINARU (means “ringing there”?) are amazing. Other songs to try: TENOHIRA DE ODORU, Kyokugen ha setsuna, Lament City, and Brilliant City. They also have made a bunch of great covers. My favorite song is their cover of "Yoru ni Kakeru" (夜に駆けるlit. "Racing into the Night"), by the duo YAOSOBI. The original song is keyboard based, so sokoninaru’s cover sounds refreshingly different.
