Compline at Trinity Church

Choral Compline at Trinity Church Boston is a short service of transcendent music, poetry, and silent prayer. Incense wafts through the darkened sanctuary. Candlelight glints off the gilded murals in the chancel. Trinity's staff singers lead this prayer at the close of day, which one clergy member describes as "a lullaby from the Almighty." In this short video, several members of the Trinity Community introduce and explain what you might expect at a Compline service, and we hear some of the choral music and plainsong that are featured. Beautiful church, beautiful ritual! I went to church there about 10 years ago to see my Rangers get destroyed by the Bruins. But if I lived in Boston, I go to church there regularly. No doubt about it!
