I'm debating whether to try to dive into the world of composing for visual media- would you say for yourself and other fellow composers are creating most of your work in your own DAW at home with a midi keyboard and gear in your home studio, playing the material yourself, or how much of it is writing scores for other people to play? Is it only a small percentage of professional composers who are frequently directing chamber musicians or orchestras? Also can you generalize if composers like yourself usually hire externally to mix and master their audio tracks they come up with or is it expected these days that self-employed composers mix, master and produce the tracks themselves?

Couple songs I would recommend reacting to are deep stone lullaby and the dethroned from destiny 2 :3

I'd love to see a reaction/analysis type thing on the Station Eleven soundtrack. If you could get Dan Romer on the podcast, I would die.
