In an argumentative essay, your job is to make the reader agree with your opinion about a controversial topic.
You have to:
(1) State your opinion
(2) Give reasons to support your opinion
(3) Argue against the opposite opinion

Argumentative essayDistance learning Education is one of the most important tools in human life. It helps learners to improve their knowledge and develops their personality. However, during the pandemic almost all universities and schools were closing, which conducted the government to apply distance learning as a solution to keep students safe through Coronavirus time. This decision, has created a controversial issue to some students who did not totally agree with while others were very interested in distance learning. Even though distance learning still has some disadvantages, it may have been the best solution to keep learning during lockdown. Learners who claimed against distance learning may have noticed that this way of studying contains many disadvantages. Including problems of connectivity; for example, students who live in rural areas do not have the accessibility to the internet. Another issue is that, some students don’t not feel comfortable and could not stay long time in front of their devices due to physical health problems. Moreover, some learners did not have the possibility to ask their instructors in distance learning while in classroom could ask them. Meanwhile other students believed in distance learning as the best solution during Corona virus period. Distance learning has become more interesting and useful. For instance, learners could access easily to many platforms such as Zoom, Moodle or Microsoft Team, with which students could select any topic they want. In addition, learners could have online course planned by their instructors, which allowed students to take notes similarly in classroom. All these advantages have made students interested in distance learning. As technology is growing up, distance learning has become very important and beneficial for students. However, attending physical classes during the pandemic would lead to serious health problems. So, the decision was taken by governments was right, in which students could continue studying and keep safe during Covid 19 period. Thank you

Our professor told us that we have to write only ONE BODY PARAGRAPH without an introduction and a conclusion.If you have any information do you know how can we write an argumentative or a cause/effect paragraph without an intro & introduction ?!🙏🏻 HERE IS WHAT THE PROFESSOR SAID TO US 👇👇👇👇👇 Important announcement concerning Composition II exam: The exam will be 1 hour. Students will be given 2 topics, one for argument writing and one for cause & effect. You will be required to write ONE BODY-PARAGRAPH respecting the structure studied for each pattern. Argumentative body-paragraph:Opposing argument+rebuttal+your own argument addressing the opposing argument. Guys,I didn't say anything about an introduction or conclusion,or S1 paragraph structure or what not. Here is another way to explain it: Write an argumentative essay IN YOUR HEAD. Respect the structure I gave your for that argumentative essay(do it all IN YOUR HEAD). Put the first body paragraph of that essay in your head on paper.That's all I want to see on the answer sheet you hand in. This is so confusing😧🤕.

That's very simple and very easy: instead of riting an essay with an intro and a conclusion, you will only write the FIRST paragraph of this ESSAY. (imagine an essay includes 5 paragraphs: Intro, body Par1, body Par2, body Par3, concluding Parargraph. WRITE ONLY the BODY PAR 1)
