I'm a multi-instrument musician, and I occasionally hit ruts on various instruments (guitar being one of them). Your vids are so refreshing and full of such a different style from the average guitar playing; I'm originally a percussionist, so I can't get enough of this 'percussive' guitar style.

An almost "universal" odd-time signature song is the Mission Impossible theme song. It's in 5/4. Most people don't realize this until you tell it to them.

@ripleyrebal yeah, cuz if it goes to fast then it'll be really short. Also it's kinda hard to change time signatures and key without sounding too "random." When I change key, I usualla change from a minor to a major or from a major to a minor. For example, from A minor to A major. Or I also take it a whole/half step up, that usually sounds good. If you wanna hear some extreme key/time signature changing, look up Project RNL. :D

I love writing songs in odd time signatures, I do it all the time. It's especially difficult to write in odd times and write them in a way that they feel symmetrical.

@ripleyrebal Well, since I come from a metal background, composing in a minor key is an everyday thing for me XD But I've been getting into jazz and other music way more, and also some classical.
