This was fascinating. Especially the walk through realism as it morphs into abstraction.

I love this color palette and abstract style, could you point me in the direction of other artists who use a similar style/palette?
@QuinceStudios Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! You might like Gerrit Rietveld (he's taken the Mondrian concept and translated it into -- well -- space? via furniture). Also, Theo van Doesburg, Bart van Der Leck, Marlow Moss, and Burgoyne Diller. Diller's work, particularly, I quite like.

There are even buildings built according to De Style principes, like the Rietveld-Schröder house in Utrecht or cafe de Unie in Rotterdam by JJP Oud. Van Doesburg and alike designed a few interiors, stained glass, sculptures, wall tiles and architectural models as well. To give some other names: Vilmos Huszár and Georges Vantongerloo.

Wow. Great explanation. I just started learning the History of Art at Khan Academy and saw this painting. At first glance, I couldn't understand a thing but you explained it very well. I also noticed that you have not uploaded a single video in the last year. If money was your object when starting this channel, I can understand why you stopped sharing videos but If money is not the problem, I would like to watch new videos of yours :)

Thank you so much for your lovely comment ☺️ we've been uploading shorts as of late, but there are a few new long form videos in the works (on Rembrandt and Dalí) so please stay tuned!
