Thanks for the video. Nice to see someone posting deck guides for HS.

Built the deck last night after watching this video. First 3 games won on turn 4 with a big hedonis funnel cake OTK turn, a double board wipe with injured hauler vs warlock, and a t6 OTK vs warrior using hedonis again. Deck feels super fun to play and has a lot of options for how to develop your board and engines.

THIS is the kind of content i like to see! Unironically you convinced me to build overheal priest next season! im currently a Reno Druid OTP (1442 Legend) and wanted to mix it up to try and get to the hundreds next season :D

Lets fucking go, most of the things you explain here like "value engine" were things i had already a grasp but not a way of describing how or why it functions that way, it's pretty useful to put it into words and make it make sense, thanks man

Do you think Chillin' Voljin is a must? On your video you never mentioned it. Maybe that's not that important? what would be the best replacement for Chilling Voljin
@MakiahTimeHSАй бұрын
I think in general all tourist cards are must due to the nature of the tourist mechanic. Without it you can't run bird watching. vol'jin in particular is an incredibly strong card that has enough uses to make its own video on so I might just do that at some point so I would recommend looking into getting this card eventually. If you HAD to cut him you wuold need to replace both bird watching and vol'jin. I think you could get away with running 2x Mixologist and 1x Puppet theatre and still be okay. I might suggest also cutting all Idol's adoration (the 1 mana weapon ) for thrives for better discover/draw. Good question. Sorry for not being more clear about this in the guide!

I am having a hard time playing this deck, but it seems really good and fun. It's not like anything else in the meta. I will take some time to study your guide, thanks for sharing!

Hey makia, I decided to learn this deck because of u. Thanks for the guide
@pilotrainbow312Ай бұрын
Generally I’m a yugioh player so I might be getting the wrong idea, but your build runs thrive in shadows I think it was, the 2 mana discover a spell. Why would you want to run this card over say, a 2 mana card that’s just good or another card entirely? Is the deck wanting as much consistency as possible and doesn’t have room outside of the engine? Sidenote, if you could make a video on why you include or don’t include a lot of overheal tech cards/cards in general I think that’d be really valuable.
@MakiahTimeHSАй бұрын
There aren't other cards that fit in the deck and discovering a spell from your deck is okay. Also it synergizes with love everlasting. this deck has been mostly solved for awhile now. More open ended deck lists like odyn warrior i do make videos about but overheal is not open ended.

Hey dude, some feedback, you don't come out very clear sometimes. For example around 03:30 or 06:09. There are good free resources that can help articulation when recording or public speaking, the latter could help into recording as well. The content is good, just trying to give a bit of constructive feedback, hope you don't mind.

I appreciate that. I'm working on it. Hoping it slowly improves as I get better

@Max-gk6otАй бұрын
Soirry if missed something obvious but how are you discounting pip to 1 mana?
@Collisto2435Ай бұрын
There's nothing in the list that discounts minions, so I can only assume it was some card that Aman'Thul generated.
@MakiahTimeHSАй бұрын
It was an old clip with Dorian i believe. I had it on my twitch and was talking about how playing pip multiple times can win you games so it fit. Sorry for the confusion

@HesandilАй бұрын
It comes from a noob so don’t flame please but how does the « rest in peace » cards works when two cards of the same cost are dead? Is it the last one who died or is it completly random?
@MakiahTimeHSАй бұрын
Random. Every card that dies goes into an invisible graveyard and then a diceroll decides which one. If one minions dies more than it has a higher chance

How necessary is Pip in this deck?
@MakiahTimeHSАй бұрын
its very nice to have. I would craft it if you want to play the deck. Pip is likely going to be good in other future priest decks as well.

Guides are usually for people unfamiliar with the concept of the deck. Also guides help people to understand how to play against certain match-ups. So if you're familiar with the deck and know what other people generally play you don't need guides, sure.
