Really helpful. Just took delivery of 992.2 911. Coming from BMW, one find I find maddening is the comfort access. Unlike BMW, the Porsche will open when approaching, but won't lock when you walk away! Super annoying, especially when you just walk by it in your driveway.

Hold down voice command button for 3 seconds to bring up Siri when connected to car play. Also swipe right the bom icon to bring up your Home Screen. To custom the widgets displayed go to options menu. Homelink pops up on its own when it’s in range of your base transmitter so shortcuts aren’t needed. An icon is also displayed on right hand side. I use the shortcut key for auto start/stop.

Paul, I have just acquired a CPO 2023 911 Turbo S Cab and need to figure out what program to choose on my Porsche Charge-o-Mat trickler: NORMAL or Li-ION. I guess it depends on what battery is in the car (which has 40 miles on it). I cannot find out what type of battery I have without taking the frunk plastic cover off which, due to a very bad back, I cannot do. Dealer closed today. Thanks.

If it is cold and the auto temp. is set, if the heater comes on, does the AC go off? Or is the AC always on unless the system is turned off? Additionally, if you just want lots of fresh air via the vents, is that possible or is the AC on?

You can turn the AC off in the Climate Control screen in the PCM. If the system is set to auto it will use the AC as required.

Any idea on how to configure language on the instrument cluster of a 992 to be the same as on the center screen. Car has latest version of PCM 6.0. Instrument cluster is in Spanish and center screen is in English.

I understand that the car uses Verizon for connectivity and you state on the video that you can use the car system (instead of ApplePlay) to make and receive phone calls. Does that mean that you need a separate phone number for the car or will the car use your regular (IPhone) telephone number?

Phone calls made through the bluetooth or Apple Carplay system will use your phone's service provider.

Just got a 992 t. Kind of disappointed with the complexity of the electronics. I just want a sports car without any unnecessary and non-helpful knickknacks. I also have an nd2 miata and love that I can just get in and drive.
