We went to Vegas in Feb. Going back in June. We don't typically gamble much, but our room for a few nights are usually $5-10k. Never used a players card before. I let them track me with a card for the first time this trip. I spent what I would normally spend on a trip, the card didn't affect my play, but I figured maybe it would pay for a meal. Regardless, I STILL felt like a TOTAL LOSER when they comped us some stuff. It's almost like you are going to the big host person (who probably thinks you're not worth anything anyway) begging for a handout......This was a great video, Bror. Always love your perspective.

I go to Vegas once a year. I don't get comps more than enough to buy a cheap food court meal. I have the lowest level card with MGM. But I'm going to NYNY in a couple of months. I'm getting comped the room, but of course, I'm still paying the facility fee and taxes. Four nights with strip view is $200. I'm from the northeast. Here, you can't stay in the dumpiest city at a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn for $50/night.

Hey Bror! Great comments on card status and comps!! Since I get to go to Vegas several times a year I have racked up Platinum at MGM. I know I know!! I have lost my share of bucks! But now when we go (mostly with my sister but also with my husband) we don't have the expense of food. So that is great since they are proud of their food in Vegas.😂😂 I do agree that the pursuit of card status is never a good idea. This year I may be demoted at MGM..who knows!! Thanks for the insight!😊🎉❤

While I gamble in Vegas, I go for other things. I go for the shows, the attractions, and other things. I do most of my gambling in AC and I'm certainly not chasing comps. I'm happy being at aluminum tier. I know I'm not able to "Be a Baller" and I'm fine with that.

I agree with your point not to chase comps. What I've done is to determine how many tier points I need to earn $100 in free play at my favorite casino. The free play allows me to get an average of 93% payback, compared to 90% payback without the free play. This really does make playing the slots more fun. I also get my buffet visits comped. I'm comfortable with losing this amount of money because that is how much I've set aside for my entertainment budget. I only do minimum bets (typically 50 cents to one dollar) and this allows me to play for two days, about six hours each day. I find this far more entertaining and cheaper than if I were to go to football or hockey games. Nobody knows my tier level because I never talk about it.

You just showed up on my recommendations-never heard of you. I watched a couple videos so far. I kind of agree with some things but not all. 2 people could be living similar lives but having different outcomes. But I’ll stick to this video first. I agree it’s a loser thing and it drives me nuts that the sheep are even falling for the comps and more importantly the whole players card thing. I will tell everyone that the card is a scam-it’s a way to control your slot and track you. The casino industry pumps out propaganda constantly especially now thru these big KZbinrs. Just watch as their channel grows how they spew the propaganda that they didn’t as they grew their channel. Their heads get really big and get sucked into the comps and think they’re ballers-they really are puppets and when the casino is done with them they’ll drain the money back slowly from them. KZbinrs will lose their filming permission if they don’t use their card and don’t push propaganda. The card is propaganda-i even heard a casino worker scolding KZbinrs for not having their card in on 2 different KZbin channels. Propaganda is stuff like “it’s the houses money” or “Use your card folks” “opps i forgot to my card in for the comps” “low volatility” high volatility” lol. All the games are on servers now so “volatility” is propaganda. The servers are programmed for 2 months at a time and the algorithms change all day everyday for those 2 months-I’m not talking about if there’s 3 of the same machine and each is a different payout percentage that was made by the manufacturer but I’m talking about the server operating those machines. Vegas is a business and they need to have staff on during the times they know payouts will be happening-if you don’t see workers get out. In the last 3 months I’ve been at the casino when there’s been a major crash country wide and the atms aren’t working and the card readers on machines. Both times there were handpays and jackpots everywhere. The real big crash that happened a couple months back i won 2 grand jackpots and 3 majors all were over $2000 majors. I killed it and so did many others -i walked in high limit room and 12 people were getting handpays,lol. The players card are a scam. Here’s more proof for you and if someone wants the actual video to check it out I’ll find it for you. It was on a big KZbinrs video and he’s friends with the casino owner and the casino owner got babbling and slipped out that they were and all casino right now country wide were working on a system that keeps your p,Ayer’s card in the machine for 10 minutes if you pull it during play. Did you here that-he then went on to say how pissed they get that ppl pull their card and then get a bonus(i do that constantly to get a bonus) So does the casino spending time and money to make it so you can’t pull your card during play sound like that is done for you the customers benefit ? Do they really want to give you comps that bad? No people the cards run the machines and I’m not lying-I’ve proven it many times. Problem is people win with it so then people don’t believe it. I will refer you to the \/axxx as my example. Was it 100% safe just because some ppl seem ok …for now? The Casinos are paying for that for their benefit not yours. Keep it mind because they’re doing right now as they hang signs in Casinos that say “top 10 myths” and the players card is #1. They have big KZbinrs pushing that garbage after awhile. Trust me their cards are turned way up and they’ve fallen in love with the lifestyle and they’re in for a hard fall when the casinos inch the money back and they’re stuck having to keep their card in to be able to make Videos. They’re trapped. I do build my tier to the top tier but i use my card for loss statement and end of year to balance out wins-so I’ll use their comps too. But and i mean BUT-i don’t use the card for comps-i don’t use my card 90% of the time because i can make huge money on slots without it and pay for my own comps and much more then they can give me. I put my card in for losses and a record. You will make much more without the card if you know what you are doing and even with just luck. The card is part of the algorithms on the machine. The casino i go to get so pissed i don’t have my card in. They will even try intimidation techniques and try to distract my game playing. I go to slots and make anywhere from $1000-$3000 and do it without getting handpays (make sure you cash your money ticket in atm before it gets to $1200-$1500 or the machine will reject so you have to go to cashier and they will try and pressure you into giving ID or players card,you don’t have to give either to cash it) so by about the 2nd or 3rd machine that i do this on they will start their games on me. Anyway this was long enough and this is partly because i watched 2 other videos of your and i kind of don’t agree with your slot betting advice and I’m thinking you aren’t that good at manipulating the machines-you might be at a low level but there is stuff you aren’t seeing on the games or can’t read what algorithms are on while looking at it or playing it. People out there you can make money at slots but you have to study them and not think about money while studying them. You have to spend money and lose to see the algorithms and learn the game and find where the holes are during different algorithms. I only mentioned a few of the casino industry propaganda but yeah this guy is mentioning another and that is “comps” and comps means the use of players card and that is why I’m warning people on it. Dont think the gaming commission is your friend-they have a kush job and don’t want to lose it and be a target by casinos -they flex sometimes on casinos just to save face. Dont think a host at a casino is your buddy or any casino worker. So many ppl fall into this trap but a definite scam/propaganda is the “comps” but to average person it’s really about the casino and their players card. Really high rollers playing for a million dollars at card games dont need a card -they just are given to them and the comps are there to get them back in and they get comps that are illegal and wild stuff mostly offered by 3rd parties so its not the “casino” giving them. It’s midnight I’m done rambling. Trying to figure out if i like you bro. I’ll check some more videos out and good for you for warning ppl and for making sure ppl don’t gamble too much or fall into these traps. You can win but like with anything you have to study and you have to spend money to learn anything in this world. There is only so much a casino can hide and only so many things the games can hide. And for ppl out there -casinos don’t even like losing $1000 so yes they will mess with you if you do it a few times. You don’t have to be taking millions from them to use intimidation on you and try and distract or annoy you. Card counters get told not to comeback even when in the negative or just winning $2000. Casinos are just as dirty as they were back in the day but i think worse because of all the high tech surveillance and spying and tracking you and yes cards and comp run the machines but they just try and hide behind the “random generater chip” installed by manufacturers -yes that’s true but there’s so much more but you can still win. You can even learn -make it a job-go bankroll so you can just go mindlessly play with your girl on slots and if she loses it-go bankroll more. Most women don’t like that part. They just want to play the game and not think. Vegas is getting tougher to win. Traveling to casinos around the country is starting to catch on. You can win more at other casinos and their algorithms are not as harsh for long durations -you can go check your favorite machines in 2 hours and it’s completely different and opened up more and then check in 2 hours more and it will be wide open. Vegas is going to take a beating because states are starting to suck the business from Vegas by not being so greedy for now anyways. Use your card for losses when you have taxable wins and use it for $100 when you go to any casino just to get a “free” night at some point and you’ll have your choice and they will eventually give you a free 2 nights or 3 if you don’t take their first offers.

There’s a reason why the casinos are beautiful and it’s not because the casinos are losing money. There are some perks with status but like Bror said don’t chase the status. Bror, Great video... to summarize, if your getting awesome comps you either got real lucky hitting them for a decent amount and they want the money back or they've hit you for a decent amount already and want more. Gamble Smart, walk-away everytime when up & go home a winner. You will still get some type of comps and will feel much better. Most players win more than they realize but usually give it back.
