I don't usually comment on videos, but felt I needed to on this one. I'll be honest and say that this 6.5 hr video was digested through a 2 or 3 day cycle. With only but a single view in its entirety, I took my Tech+ today and passed it. As an individual who is more of a "visual" learner, your slides were impeccable and concise. As someone who passed it less than 24 hrs of this comment, I will state to pay extra attention to networking and programming related content, especially python. I can 100% say that every single thing this video spoke of indeed came up in the exam to some capacity. I look forward to your future videos and I'll most likely view your other ones as I plan to tackle security+ and network+ next.

At the time of this comment (2 Dec 2024), CompTIA hasn't released its official exam details related to the Tech+ nor have they started selling the testing vouchers for the exam yet.

@techgee ive been studying for ITF+ plan to take it in January and I feel pretty comfortable. As these are similar should I just go for this one instead and add in the additional content to study between now and then

Just focus on the ITF+ since you’ve already been preparing for that exam.

At the time of this comment, CompTIA hasn’t made the Tech+ voucher available yet & there isn’t any info stating when they will.

Both courses are nearly identical for the most part, it wouldn’t hurt you one way or the other to study either one.
