I thank to Joe Crow for his little masterpice, cause Compulsion is beautiful and magic like a miracle in its sad mood, its sad and enigmatic lyrics. Post punk at its best. But Martin Gore's cover is superb, an emotional jewel, so melancholic and his voice, the way he sings every single word on this song, every line, every note, just break my heart like a sad Sunday morning on the winter. And synths programming on this track is simply deluxe.
