Coming from Houdini as my only previous 3d graphics experience I've been a bit underwhelmed by a lot of approaches to abstract design in Blender so far. Your techniques, however, are making it clear to me that there's more possilities than I was previously lead to believe. I hope you make more videos like this, I really love them.

This is such an interesting approach and the fact that it comes out with 0 non manifolds is just the damn cherry on top...And naturally, I had to subscribe...Bravissimo!!!

Genius idea! I ve always tried to take a few splines curves, converted them to mesh and tried boolean union on them to get such an output. But never really got satisfactory results. This is just amazing.

I tried this and it definitely works in Blender 2.81. Thank you for sharing! You Sir, really rock!

Actually you can skip the fluid part using the new voxel remesher

@@AlessandroZomparelli Hi, I am new to blender but i am trying to use this workflow to create some architectural columns for my project. I am using blender 2.8 and this video was done in an earlier version. I am having trouble making the path separate between the bottom plane into the smaller planes above and back into the on plane at the top. My path relationship connects all planes individually :(. Is there a written version of this tutorial i can follow ? please help. Thank you.

Hey i have a question,, im tryng it with 2.81 but when i add the second plane as RELATION(you can see it at 1.19sec. ) i see INVALID TARGET! error any idea to help me please ?

Excellent, it's great to know that blender's physics is at such a sophisticated level... Yes, printing these types of structures seems like an amazing way to experiment with output :: *if you print any of these, make sure to post the results.* Good work !

Hello, @AlessandroZomparelli I think fluid physics properties are not there in Blender 2.8. Or maybe you are using a plugin. Let me know

That's a very old video, now things are much simpler. In blender 2.83 you have the voxels remesh modifier

@@cleoagash for the particles there is, just checked. Are you using an old build? Anyway, the current particles system is going to be replaced in the next releases of Blender. But for the moment you can still use this workflow.
