Hi there, when a pdf is opened by a web browser, will the browser display Illustrator eps files correctly? I know the internet does not support eps files but since they are in a pdf, will it work?

Hello good sir, I need your help before my deadline. Recently I tried to participate in a local contest involving novels and all sorts of art. When I tried to send them my novel ( pdf) through the website as they requested, the website declined it with a note under the inscription button that says: "pdf not generated. no SVG pages found" and honestly I am stuck there. At first they said that my pdf is too large so I compressed it, then they said that. I tried searching for a solution through google and Facebook groups, as I tried to contact the website as well but they did not reply to me from any social media base they have. can you please guide me to my next step because I don't know if it was my fault or the website's fault. PS: I have a Foxit Reader software. Thank you so much, I will be waiting for your answer.

Hi Larry, Sure, you can use an App like Word for Android to create a Word document then convert it to a PDF file. PDF files are great because they can open from almost any device and retain their formatting. I hope this helps.

Does your job not provide any basic computer training? Are you familiar with sending emails? If so, when you create an email, there is an option to add an attachment. How you find this depends on the email system your job uses, but it usually appears as a paper clip icon. Once you click on it, a window will appear asking you to select the file you want to attach. Navigate to where the file is, select it and choose "Open" or attach. Now that the file is attached, you send the email as you normally would and the recipient will get the email along with whatever file(s) you attached.

Not sure if you've figured it out yet. Anyways, if you have a Windows 10/11 computer, it will by default open PDF files in MS Edge. Microsoft is really trying to get people to use MS Edge so they set it as the default browser as well as the default PDF viewer. You can right click on any PDF file saved on your PC and choose Open With>choose Google Chrome and make sure the "Always use this app to open .pdf files" box is checked.
