Try shutting your whole laptop down but it won’t erase any data. But if it doesn’t work then try to don’t do things they say. Because your laptop is not the boss. If those methods STILL don’t work. Then immediately take your laptop to microsoft or a Apple store to fix the problem. And it must be quick or else the virus will spread and the tab and the virus will be hard to get rid of or it will erase all your laptop data.

this scam-ware tried locking me couldn't even tried to use control alt del or use shut down or restart had to disconnect power and battery after computer restarted first time went straight back to scam ware so was unable access or del browsing history so after restarting a second time uninstalled chrome which when doing this gave me opportunity to del browsing history. Reinstalled chrome problem solved. So I'm assuming unless I'm wrong is that the scam-ware must get stored in browsing data. Number 1 rule for me never fall for this scam as in video Microsoft doesn't contact or lock you out.

anti-virus programs almost never auto-detect and isolate these pop-ups because they appear as regular code embedded in a program unless the virus program has been updated with particulars regarding certain malware to disallow...also u can only use one virus detector at a time so loading a million of them will only cost you unnecessary $$$$

Just happened to me 20 minutes ago. This happened on an older PC some years ago. At that time I called the number and gave the person I spoke to access to my computer. Huge mistake! Anyways thank you for this guidance. I didn't call the number, learned my lesson the first time.

Thanks for the video. Just got hit when I accidentally clicked on the screen right as a pop-up emerged. Minus the security defender I took a short cut. I right clicked on the Chrome icon closed all that was opened and shut down the WiFi. Computer running normal again. But I will renew my antivirus software didn't realize it expired due to not using it lately. Nonetheless great video because you actually indirectly directed me in those steps. Tip for everyone from a scam pop up expert: If you see one of these, calm down and continuously press Alt+F4. Eventually it will close. Like many have tried in the comments, scan your pc. It will most likely come up as 0 threats, viruses etc. Be safe, don’t download any dodgy files and you’ll be fine.

These are fake. The tech support is not located at the Microsoft Office. They are usually located in the slums of India. These people do not want to fix your computer, they want your money. If you see these, open task manager and find the browser you are using, then end the task.

This happened to my wife's computer last night while she was doing her homework. I was able to get into task manager. It states processes, performance, app history, startup, users, details, services I know I'm in the right spot but I don't know exactly what I was looking for it has things like mobile device services, app vs notify and a ton of other things. The solution is easy, okay here we go... Press the three little points icon just down the button that closes this window this icon is call "customize and control google chrome" then go "settings" then you will SEE this " chrome://settings/ " but you have to add the word "content" so it has to be like this chrome://settings/content and now you can see a menu where you can "Notifications" option, so press that option and you will see the options "Allow and Block" so just select the ones that are bothering you and block them. I just blocked these maranhesduve.club romandaningri.info www1.ecleneue.com when you download movies the page uses many adds you have to pass through to. so if after doing this you're not be able to download movies from where you regularly did, comeback and check if you're not blocking some page you need to pass through while the process of your downloading. GOOD LUCK
