There are more jobs in Computer Science (programmers) as compared to Computer Engineering which can be hardware oriented. Both fields are tough because one has to keep learning to keep up with the latest technology. Some engineering fields such as Electrical, Chemical, and Mechanical are based on first principles that do not change. They use computers as tools to solve problems.

It's the opposite actually. In CE, there are broader fields like electronics, programing, embedded systems,robotics etc. While in computer science it's more related to the software side, even though some of these are included in it. And I don't get what you're talking about only CSE and CE keeping up with the latest technology,bcz all of these fields you've mentioned are getting updated constantly and are entering new fields of applications.

@@musabtahir3744 In Canada, engineer is a regulated profession. You need to be an engineering graduate (4 yr bachelor degree in engineering) and licensed with the province to be called engineer. It is against the law to call yourself software engineer, data engineer, and computer engineer without provincial license.

This video is not for India. Whatever they refer as "Computer engineering" here is "Electronics engineering" in India. Computer science has coding/programming. Btw anyone is open to learn coding. It doesn't need engineering knowledge. Even arts commerce can also do coding. However, while using low level programming, a little bit knowledge of microprocessors, memory, etc. is required.

If you're looking for a job as a software developer or engineer then you should be able to do coding atleast nicely in 1 language If you want to do hardware related jobs then again you should be pretty perfect in it. However as a fresher you won't be able to get a job in such companies... They often require experiences and they prefer other things too but make sure that whatever goal you have, you give and learn the best in it so you get selected and have good packages!
