I have this camera for about 8 years, and counting, and never regretted not one bit. It has great features and is exactly what I was looking for. Having 80gb and the ability to add memory cards to the camera is perfect. Too bad Sony discontinued this camera but if you can get your hands on this camera I would recommend it.

yes it does, its 30mm but you can get adapter rings for other sizes

i use this camera all the time this is my favorite camera doesnt need to be hd just needs a good graphic at least and it is pretty good

I just purchased a used DCR-SR68 but can't figure out how to get pics off of camera to my MacBook computer. I was reading the manual. Do I need the PBM software? If so, where can I get this software?

I was looking for a Cam to start off making short movies, but i don't know anything about cameras. I don't know if that handycam will be very usefull when it comes to shooting steady shots and stuff like that. Im also looking for something not much expensive. What do you people recommend?

hello most people cant understand what im asking but i would like to know if this camera... can record lets say a basketball game. as your recording the game.. someone gets hurt and you dont need to film it can you press a button and it will stop recording and when you press record again it will resume from where it left off. I hope you can understand my question. thanks Seth

can u put a fisheye on this?? i had this cam for a while now. and its okk i give it 3.8/5 its not all that extraordinary but its is a very usable and decent camera for its price. but i just want to know if its compatible with additional lenses. i really want to put a fish eye on it.

that's the hard disk problem. You either use a memory card going forward or have your hard disk replaced. memory card is a cheaper option

USB MINI A. Touch screen not great. A remote a good idea perhaps. Good HD and optics so overall 6.5/10. A few years back too so maybe was 7.5 back then and cost a lot more. Easy to pick up now reasonably priced. Tidy.

I love Sony but I have to hate on you right now cause buying this camcorder It's just a waste of money. I feel like I got robbed. The quality picture is really bad. It looks great on the camcorder but once you try to play it on your PC, laptop or tv man oh man IT SUCKS!! I've tried to change the settings and still nothings get better. Anybody found a solution to the poor quality?? No joke I'll sell you mine camcorder
