I think before hand they were still generally easy on him, he got raided all the time, but it must of been like 20 raids on different properties he owned (the Clean Manor in particular) and they never discovered a secret door of his, where as CG and heck even Speedy had their secret doors discovered the very 1st time their properties were raided (CG tunnels and Speedy Weapons bench).
