Well done, Watson! Dr. Parsons- I very much enjoyed hearing and learning more about the amazing Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Also, what a cute little fairy, er, uh...bird, strolling by at around 13:38. Your research and presentation skills are admirable and much appreciated. Looking forward to your next amazing contribution. Thanks and best wishes from NE US.

Hi Jeffrey, Thanks for your kind comment. The bird you saw was a pigeon and we have many of them, and magpies, flying around the garden all year round. If you might be interested in another bird, watch my video 'Far Memory: the story of Joan Grant'. It was a bit of a surprise for me. A bird we had been feeding. My next video will be on a Mr Jensen; possibly the most evidential story in existence for the survival of consciousness after death.

@@1946kpI thought pigeon, or perhaps mourning dove, by the way it moved. We have a nice variety of winged creatures here (feed them year round) with several pigeons roosting in the barn. It is enjoyable to hear them and see them flying their patterns together. Unfortunately for them, we also have some hungry hawks in the area, capable of snagging birds in mid-air. I look forward to your next installment. The more proof, the better. I am wondering if the video you mentioned involves a robin landing and hanging around on your table or hand, while you sat and spoke in your garden. That was really nice. l will have a look now to be sure. Thanks, Dr Parsons.

Another really great video Keith but Conan Doyle features (along with his former home in Crowborough) just up the road from me in the book "The Airman Who Would not Die" by John G Fuller an excellent account of life after death and I highly recommend it to you.

The best evidence one will ever have is the evidence of consciousness. We take ourselves to be experiencing a world but this is wrong. We only experience our experience of experience. This experience is the Nothing, but it is also the phenomenal everything. My whole existence has never been anything but "proof" of "spirit." I don't require a camera. And of course there is no such thing as matter, say David Bohm and so many others. But no one needs authority in this realm. Thank you!!!!

Thanks so much, Keith, yet another excellent video from you. I honestly never fail to wonder how the heck you manage to include all the content, production, and editing, all by yourself. I know I've said that before, but I really have to say it again, well done. By the way, I could see a small group of spirits over your left shoulder, did anyone else see them?
@1946kp3 жыл бұрын
You did see them, Nigel - whisky, port, sherry and ginger wine.

You got it! It's all going back into the mists of time, Keith, I'm 68 now, but when I was really young I was convinced my family and I were German. I don't know exactly how old I was at the time, but I remember watching our first TV with my family, when I was about four years old. The weather man came on, pointing to the map of England, and I blurted out that we didn't even live in England, we lived in Germany! I also had dreams about living in Germany during wartime. But over the years it's all faded into time, and I really don't know if I had a past life or it was just fantasy.

Hi Louise, Yes, I've thought about regression. I'll go into it further then either post about it or make a KZbin video of the session.

Surprised Dr. Parsons is undecided about Sir Arthur communicating from the Afterlife. For me Ann Treherne's book provided very strong evidence for his survival. I believe Ann Treherne continues to communicate with Sir Arthur so hopefully a second volume will be written to provide further evidence. On another point, Sir Arthur's second wife was I believe a very talented medium. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they both communicated jointly!

I’m a Dr. Parsons fan & usually love his videos. But the format really needs a change. Most people don’t want to watch someone sit in front of a camera, with studio lights that are way too bright, just reading a script on a computer screen. Extremely boring & not enough of the spirit evidence is shown.

Hi there, Keith Clark here (the uploader, not the creator). You have a very valid point and we understand. Retention these days is often a maximum of 3-5 minutes. I've had plans of making short digests for TikTok, Facebook, and KZbin. Unfortunately this requires time, and money - both of which are scarce. I'm working towards maybe one day being able to have the freedom to take on historical and archive projects but for now there simply are no resources. I do look towards the day when I can take Dr Parsons' videos, as well as all of the other historical material I've accumulated and bring it to light. We do very much appreciate your feedback and hope you will always continue to provide it! ~Keith

Thank you for sharing this insightful video. I have recently researched into early twentieth century Spiritualism; correspondingly, I have just glossed over Doyle's essay in defense of William Hope which I found to be rather flimsy and uncredible, especially in its weak attempt at discrediting Price's exhaustive skeptic scrutiny of spirit photography. I found your defense of Doyle's book on SPR(or at least parts of the book) to be peculiar- since contemporary research with advanced technology to match has debunked it conclusively in recent decades- all of those supposed SPR photos can be verified as utter fakes. So why not admit it to be outright hokum in the present? I ask merely out of curiosity. I agree that confirmation bias can yield results to match its premise, i.e mainstream scientists will always dismiss any supernatural phenomena as impossible and therefore will never be able to properly detect it in their research when such phenomena is presented to their senses. However, I see no reason to favor psychic researchers in this case- since they too can be accused of the same type of confirmation bias which seeks to dismiss any material explanation for reported paranormal phenomena. Therefore I think it only fair to favor agnosticism- as I do- so while I certainly don't rule out the validity of the paranormal I can neither confidently confirm it. The Society For Psychical Research has produced an impressive body of evidence in its 140 years of existence, which I can at least inquire into with some openness- as opposed to the more dubious hearsay testimonies scattered hither and thither that were never researched in-depth. Your approval of literary sources attempting to demonstrate the existence of fairies also prompts my surprise- in all my research into 'fairy lore' I have not come across any corpulent and extensive body of evidence as that of, say, ghosts or UFOs. The frugality of such literature and lack of any serious scholarship on the subject should keep us at bay- one book here and there is hardly enough to constitute compelling evidence for mythical sprites. All the same, I find your video very inspiring and informative and send you my best.

I also began to sit as a physical medium however it did not make me feel good ... And my grandfather who had passed away at the time came to me and told me to be with the living ... To enjoy life ... My reply ... Dead people are more alive than most embodied people😂😂😂

Thank you very interesting ... I'm very ignorant of literature... When I was 34 I attended several physical seances of Andrew Thompson and Mavis King ... And Doyle's voice appeared then ectoplasm phisical form ... I had no idea who this being was ... Also people's relatives and Louie Armstrong... People think I'm mad ... I am not ...I'm science minded ... And you cannot argue with Fact ... What I saw and felt ... One spirit child sat on my knee ... And held my hand ... Beautiful ❤️ ... And fairies and little people and Unicorns are real ... I have seen them ... I don't need to provide evidence ... I know facts and truth ... When people die they will realise and they can have their evidence then😂😂😂
