Ive had some great luck getting a variety of the flowers and the seeds just from running circuits of the Unnamed City. Primarily from the skeletons. Great way to get started while also farming fragments.

Excellent tip there! Just be fleet of foot and have a decent stamina and you're good to go! Grab that obelisk while youre in there as well!

Just adding some info for newer players here. If you go to the Children of Sobek cave...tough fights...at the end of the cave is a boss with 3 archers. He is guarding 2 chests. These chests will always have grey lotus seeds and flowers. I farmed it to get his whole outfit, since he drops 1-2 pieces of it so it took a few respawns, and it's great early-mid game armor. Got plenty of grey lotus after that.

Man, everybody always showcases the grey lotus in the Arena. I've been running that §@%$ of a place 9 times now and got precisely zero. But a buttload of golden lotus, for good measure. Damned RNG -.-' Anyway, cool video!

havent went into the arena yet, but somewhere i found a single grey lotus flower, i tried putting it on the drying rack but it seems nothing happens, cant seem to turn it into seeds, going to try again today after i lost my corpse yesterday getting raw ash and couldnt get back to it in time despawned right as i got back close to it. and had loads of black ice raw ash and goldstone on me at the time and hadnt used sorcery yet to know how to summon corpse, so remade my gear went back to the snow at least and got a big load of star metal and black ice, and had another meteor shower fall right when i got to the bottom but didnt go back since i had only 1 explosive arrow left, but need to go back to the volcano today to get more golden lotus gold and especially the raw ash. i just hope i can figure out how to dry the flowers into seeds to keep it going.

Are you using bark in the drying rack to "fuel" it? You need to use that and turn the rack on like you would to dry wood or meats.

How many seeds and how many units of strong compost is needed to put in the planter?

Each seed will make 5 flowers, unless Funcom has changed the mechanic since I made this video. As for the potent compost, I just chuck a bunch in and let it run. If I remember right, and its been a bit since I put this vid out, every seed takes one compost to produce the 5 flowers.

well you dont need mutch black lotus... .you easy can plant 1 and after this make seeds out of it. As far as i know is you get 4 plants but you only need 3 to make seats

All depends on if you are playing solo or if you are in a group and you are providing the supply for the team... Just a good way overall to keep from having to go to some pretty nasty places to stock up. :)

For the raw ash part, you harvested 3+7 from a single node of obsidian with the pick, and only 4+2 with the cleaver. The sickle you got nothing from the first node and 4 from the second. Despite the fact that obsidian is heavy, "you get more ash" from the mining pick. You can just toss out anything you dont want, it takes only a few seconds to hit tab, cursor over, click, and hit space on anything you dont want. If you are quick, you can do it in a second or so. But THEN, you didnt drop the loot between the cleaver and sickle. You showed yourself walking from one to the other and added them together, making it inaccurate. Please review your video and correct that if possible. The cleaver later showed it is possible to harvest 7, but as you said, the animation lock can cause issues if you find yourself attacked. The odds are, people aren't going to come to the volcano at a low level, so hopefully it wont be a problem. My suggestion, is to re-attribute to max expertise, and choose the 'beast of burden' perk. I believe the raw ash is considered a rare harvest, so I recommend taking the 'careful harvest' perk as well. The reset potions are relatively cheap and with the inconvenience of having to re-learn everything being minimum, because unlike games like Ark, Conan separates them to make it easier, so you can change back to whatever you want when you are done. With beast of burden, you can move at full speed while encumbered while also being able to fight at full capacity. You can maximize both time and efficiency this way because you can use the mining pick, or pick-axe, get all the loot, and then toss what you dont want when you get to a safe place. But I am not a pro veteran, It's just an opinion based on personal experience. I leave the decision to anyone watching.

Thanks for the info, and yes, I realize that when shooting the video the results did not match what I was saying, but the resource harvest is random. I have been up and down that path for years and the information I provided is accurate, but shooting and reshooting the harvesting can be more than tedious. Thanks for the added info on the beast of burden perk and for all the other information. This game is constantly evolving and I always appreciate feedback on my content.

Are you using the improved fertilizer? They won't grow with the standard fertilizer. Or are you saying that they grow, you just done see the flowers in your planters?
