The Axe reach comes from the jump attack. The full heavy combo has knockdown and you can hit them again before they get up.

It worked really well agaist the spear. Even fighting the best spear fighter in the server. Best thing is to dodge to the side and move in. Because its a very small hitbox for tge spear and recovery time of a spear attack.

Did you know, spears are considered long range weapons if given to thralls? If you give them a sword and a spear they'll swap between them depending on the enemies range.

Spears *should* have a long reach just like that. It's not OP at all. The devs got that one right! Too bad they don't implement halberds. Same reach but can also do slashing/hacking damage like an axe blade, and also has a hook opposite the blade that can be used to pull a rider off his horse.

Adventurers blade is absolutely amazing. Basically a sword of crom for the exile

I'll stick with a good shield and The Predatory Blade. For a thrall I give them both a Sword of Crom and a Lifeblood spear. He'll periodically switch weapons to keep healing. Hanuman's Gada hits like a truck but didn't do as well as Sword of Crom against multiple enemies due to lack of spin attack. Out of my testing Sword of Crom and Hanuman's Gada made my thrall do the most damage taking only 4 or 5 hits to kill Spinas the Marauder. Your thrall can solo any boss with this setup. For extra healing don't forget to use healing arrows.

What thrall do you use? Im thinking of using my lvl 4 bearer, because of the 9900 hp. My buddy says some of the level 4 fighters are better to have with you( because their combat is better) Is he correct?

@@againsthate6041 The bearers though they have good hp do considerably less damage than the named fighters. I normally use Daicas the Sharp or Captain. I choose Daicas the Sharp of Spinas the Marauder because in testing Daicas would stay in the fighter longer as where Spinas would randomly do his back hand springs to get out of the fight.\, not even using them is a smart way to avoid heavy attacks.

You repair legendary weapons using the legendary weapon repair kits, You have to use it before it breaks fully if it is fully broken there is no way to repair it.

It is. It's reach, span of attack, and its damage. I find that armor pen doesn't mean much in this game. Also, the predatory blade should deal more damage, but it doesn't. Personally, I've always preferred the axe's hit combo.

The way you tested range found the "on paper" range, further testing could find the distance closing range of each attack, including the entire hit box of the attack, as you said some weapons will spin attack. A separate video about this topic would be cool.

Just recently got it after killing 93 skelly bois on a standard server, probably my favorite weapon. if it had a shield or an off hand with it, it would be completely broken.

The lying bastard is has the damage comparable to a lot of the two handed swords, and has the attack speed and better crowd clearing capability then an axe. If you could use a shield with it, then it’d definitely out play all axes because of its damage and armor penetration. It’s a good top tier weapon because it clears better then axes because of A. The slight difference in range(not that big of a deal) and B. It has the axes move set with naturally higher armor penetration, and higher base damage. You sacrifice your defense for higher dps.

Yes I fought people with Spears and it is that first jump Then light attack then I Dodge run around for about 2 seconds to regain stamina then repeat Lying bastard sword PVP 101 also wear light or medium armor Flawless epic if you have it

8:00 thats actually quite good. I didn't think it was going to be that good but thats pretty good. You can roll catch alot better cus of that reach ill have to do some duels with my clanmates and test it out.

I haven't played in a little while but the spear has a dead spot up close where poking fails to connect. the problem was that the axe was at the verge edge of this and the dragonbone one could land here and still hit 3 out of 4 times this sword is better than that (tactic was to enterupt healing and do constant damage but not folow up with the chain until either the players health was low enough or in the case of the healing spear when he recycled it to get the healing buff, this was the most useles spear as everybody tried the mpc style fighting. Could land first and second combo every time). if i could kill the spear wheelders on my server with little problem this sword will slauter them this is based on about 500+ arena matches some with heal and some without with an axe there is only two weapons that trouble me and that is strangely the hammer and the two handed sword. ( i lose about 1 match for every 6 played ) I am going to add that there was a one handed sword guy that use to play and he was insanely good with it and that was about 1 out of 3 but was an exeption. ( just believe the player was way more skillfull than I ) I will have to veryfy the new hyper armour stuff and if they changed a lot there i would believe combat will be broken because interupts were very important on weapon use. Out of about 15 players very few used a spear as one on one it did not carry enough potential and versus multiple enemies the two handed sword a hammer was superior.

If its for pvp, then unfortunately I'll take a spear any day off the week (i love the war hammer but it can't compete!). If it's for pve I prefer the +5 strength 1 handed sword. Great job with the vids and engaging with the community by the way 👌👍

Another excellent and informative video as always firespark81 sorry that I'm late to the party as you may have noticed my comments are starting to pop up here and there I was left without internet for a month because someone forgot to pay their bill so I had to cut down on mine to pay for them life sucks as they say LOL regardless don't worry too much about the PVP aspects I for one not exactly a PVP player myself I enjoy it occasionally but for the most part I usually stay away from it because there's always that one gamer a kind of pisses on everybody's party which kind of spoils it for a lot of games anyways keep up the excellent work I look forward to it and I for one well I'm a sword man myself so if I had the game I'd probably be using that played myself mainly because the combo is more of my liking but hey that's just me

40 str + 40 vit at least and silent legion armor. 74% dmg reduction. For weapon use what you like. Switch to shield when to heal up. OP. No need to roll dodge. If you got a weapon with hyper armor use it.

If you're a souls games player I recommend you to use mediums armor with a shield as it's really easy to avoid almost every damages against most of the ennemies in the and as an epic medium armor can have a solid 400 defense in case you take a hit.

I mean sure "assert your dominance" but not even giving people a chance to build up and just destroy them is straight up a** like If they are lvl 60 and have a decent base yeah of course. But considering that most alpha clans destroy anyone despite of lvl and experience or whatever its just no fun. PvP is fun when everyone is at least a bit at the same lvl. But from my experience, since the beginning of conan, most alpha clans are just a bunch of a**holes. Doesnt mean that everybody is like that but sadly most are. Or they just block ways by building something there. Babababa and even more and idk if im the only one but i mostly even help new players on our server. Thats more fun than destroying everyone for no reason

I know it can be harsh but its a survival game people should expect things like that. Otherwise just dont bother it. I played with my girlfriend an we where on a 10 TIMES boosted PvE conflict server because we dont have much tine for an offical server and we where on there for 2 weeks so basically we had everything because its easy with 10 times. So after a while we wanted to raid someone in the PvP time but no top clan was on so we attack a bit smaller one still strong tho and he was new because ps+ y'know? And he straight up messaged me and insulted me for raiding him which was allowed. Thats just fking dumb i would've understand if he was calm but after all i talked with him in a party and he started insulting me again and i just talked calmly and then i explained him how it works but he still justt cried and said "Na but look at how much of my thralls you killed" and.. yeah on a 10 times boosted server where the thralls also where ready in litteraly one second its so easy to get them.. but with all the newbies on ps4 you litteraly cant find anyone thats doesnt cry about his base getting even damaged. They straight up message you and when he even messaged my girlfriend and insulted her it was over. But i stayed calm because i understood him and yet im happy he isnt on the server anymore. Its yeah...dumb since the conan got free on ps4

You do realize that just because a game has a PVP option that it does not mean the game was designed with PVP in mind. This is one of those games. PVP in this game is half thought out and forgotten about. Haven't you noticed that not a single update in ages has done anything for PVP except for add a few new weapons? And 90% of the weapons they added have been RP shit. You know why? Because they don't care about PVP and don't want you to play PVP they want you to play PVE and RP. It's so clear that if you can't see it then I don't really know what else to say.
