2 years ago, I fell in love with a boy that has nothing to envy others. He was smart, cute, so kind and he was the first boy to show me how it felt to be loved since a longgggg time. I thought he was the one, I thought he knew me in every possible way, I trusted him but in the end he wasn’t this nice boy anymore. All the things he said, all the things he did were just an illusion that was real in my head but not in his. You can not know how your life is destroyed after such an event like that until you experience it. He broke out with me when my entire heart was him. He totally destroyed my vision of trust, life interest and love particularly. He made me turn into a new girl I didn’t like at all. I hate myself for a lot of things because of him. Like how could I ever love someone else now that I don’t even think that love is real or if it is, that I deserve it. He ruined my life, in every possible way. This song hits different every time I hear it because it reminds me of our relationship and of him. But this song is still one of my favorite because when you feel the memories when you’re listening, it is a good one. Thanks Conan for making this real.

I cried listening and singing this song after listening to it for so many times. Me and my bsf got into an argument and now it can never be the same again. I always wondered why i never wrote a comment under this song. It was always a song that made me cry. Maybe i didn't know how to explain the feeling it gave me? This song for me is like, knowing you and someone are drifting apart. Knowing that you both need to move on. For the better because you know it just will never work. You're out of time you know? The feelings are gone and you both try to save it but you need to come to terms it's over. Its not even about love it can also be about friendship. Its about a person leaving because they know they are two worlds apart from tee person. Slightly regretting the choice questioning, was it better this way? but then seeing the person. Feeling every emotion again. Knowing it was for the best. "STOP TRYING TO KEEP US ALIVE" the frustration hits. When the person makes it harder to let go of what you guys had because they do small actions to make it okay and all you want to do is get it over with so it doesn't hurt as much. the metaphors the emotions it all makes sense as its explained. It hurts letting go of someone so close but this song is saying. Eventually. You need to let go.
