If I'm not mistaken Kim was going through divorce and was taking care of her father? If so, I'm impressed how put-together and confident she acts. Kim won my heart in SATC, then I saw Mannequin and I fell in love all over again. Kim ( despite her Samantha role) is one of the sweetest, kindest people iv ever seen or heard and you can tell it's 💯 genuine. Now SJP on the other hand is nice to , but can be a bit of a picky diva Bec I believe she let SATC get to her head. But Kim had to act more than the other women, and got paid the same or less. Same thing happened with Suzanne Somers with Three's Company. But if I was straight , Kim would be the one girl I'd look for, her or Britney. But watch the film mannequin, it will MAKE you love her if you don't already.

I wish SJP hadn't been such a POS to Kim because I'm pretty disappointed that Samantha, my favorite character and the best thing about the series, won't be in the upcoming reboot. Knowing what I do now, I don't blame Kim at all for turning down the project. It sure would have been great, though, to see all four characters together again, even if it is for just ten episodes.

Miss Sheridan portrayed Edie Brit on "DH" and that character was VERY much like Samantha Jones. Nicolette is age appropriate and would do a great job as Samantha Jones. I would prefer that then killing the character off in the new series.
