Augh - so grateful KZbin suggested this before I sleep 🙌 I adore Louis. Somewhat related. Last week I was inspired to set up an open mic at this tiny spot with fantastic lighting round where I live. They said email booking, I did right then and there (2 Fridays ago). The following week, last Monday I went to the other comedy spot to get their blessing and they said go ahead! Seems to be their comedy crew used to perform once a month but not lately. Anyhow, I returned to my new waterhole and it was closed that Monday. Returned Saturday and well, the sound guy acted totally different. His group scattered. Idk if the place will hold water since they decided to not keep the kitchen open - tough times everywhere I guess.

When he started the bit I was actually curious to see how he would change it in order to not have it censored, it doesn't work as well as the original imo. I think I heard some other bit of his where they have him take it down a notch for TV and it kind of ruins the joke.
