​@@Rob-gp6yb I think the real reason it was green screen was because they weren't able to find a time when Tina and Conan could work at the same time. So it's more a happy accident that the green screening adds to her ignore him rather than the intentional effect.

It's one of the best shows period for meta comedy, clips could never do its sensibilities justice. If you don't like meta jokes you might not like it though. I always thought it seemed corny until i gave it a chance, ended up loving it.

@@GustyWizard so an acquired taste? Several sitcoms are like that. But for me the "comedic actors" of 30 Rock just don't cut it. Nowhere near the levels of acting and writing in VEEP for example.
