I seem to remember Craig being on Conan's show shortly after 9/11/2001. I remember Craig being really funny and at the end of the interview, Conan sincerely telling him thank you... like Conan for the first time having a genuinely good time. Am I dreaming this?

Craig's talent here was off the charts. He couldn't be contained. This was when Conan was still sort of subdued. He would have played more with Craig had this been several years later.

he's from Boston, he's not putting in any special effort. Boston accents don't have the "Mary marry merry" merger than most American accents have, which is why most Americans pronounce the name Craig like "Creg."
