Born in the 70’s myself so I can definitely confirm. It’s sad that kids today don’t have the positive masculinities role models that we all did back then. I don’t think kids today understand just how important Mr T was was in the 80’s, from wrestling to TV to PSA’s to the White House to an animated series to movies he was larger than life, especially to children! I LOVE Mr.T. Used to watch The A-Team and loved it when I was elementary school age. He was the most charismatic and loved character for me. Even though he was in character, I felt his true character shined through, that's why people easily loved him. I got the confirmation when I saw an interview of his and heard him spoke. He's as real and great as I thought he would be. He was my hero. I'm glad he's still kicking it. Love you Mr.T.

So his whole entire career was basically centered around his drive to be a good dad.
